Witches in the backyard
When I lived at my grandmother's she would tell me so many things like how the devil, witches, gnomes, la llorona and other things were very real. She told me that if I didn't go to sleep at the time she told me to that the devil will be dancing on my ceiling. Chewing gum at night was bad she said if I chewed it, it would turn to bones. If I wasn't inside before dark she would lock me out so that the witches will take me. Playing with toys when I'm suppose to be sleeping will have something wanting to play with me. She had many rules and things to say that had me listen and follow all her rules but sometimes I didn't and I got the consequences that scared the crap out of me. This story by the way I didn't brake any rules. It was night I was in my room, my room didn't have a door but it was next to the back door. I can't really remember what I was doing but suddenly I heard noises coming from the backyard. I was contemplating whether or not I should go look because of everything my grandma said. After about five minutes it sounded like something or someone fighting outside I got up and looked out the back door window. I couldn't really see clearly what was out there the only light was coming from the garage. Whatever they were were right above my chair that I use to climb up and hang laundry to dry. I saw three shadows floating and looked like they were fighting. I got scared and ran to my bed and tried to go to sleep till I eventually did. I woke up the next morning and the first thing I did was run out to the backyard to look. My chair I swear on my life had blood on it. As soon as I saw that I ran to tell my grandma everything I even dragged her outside to see the chair. She got scared and burnt my chair and said that the shadows were witches. That day she prayed like crazy and told me to never look outside when its night again.
