The new anodes are on and now waiting for blacking.

We are still living on it, got some ricketty metal steps to climb, carrying the dogs up and down not easy.

Must remember not to through coffee out of window without looking first, last time the boat was out ai threw a bit of coffee out and the guy was ditectly under the window, he saw the funny side of it - eventually, like 2 days later

Do you have an onboard lavatory or do you need to climb down the ladder? Or is there a handy portable facility (i.e. a bucket)?

Will get some more when we are back in water.

It used to be a working boat. The grey part at back is the original boatsmans cabin and engine room, we still have the original Lister 11 engine and it works lovely.

The green part was originally just the hull where they carried coal. The top was added later.

Free To Roam, I'm glad the guy you accidently threw coffee on eventually saw the humorous side of it.

And don't feel too bad about it, Free To Roam, because we all make mistakes like that every so often.

My boat is not quite as big as a ship. Lol.

It is an old canal working  boat which has been modified to live on..

The top pic is of our boat being taken ourmt of the water for blacking. Really scary times, i took a pic, but my heart was going like the clappers. Watching your home in mid air!

Boatsman cabin is my husbands 'studio' for his music.

Yes in deed, an action to hiving up any Boat is IS a scary thing! I´ve seen many such Clips where it "didn´t quite" work out like it should have!

You guy´s are very lucky to live on a Boat, listening to that Blubber sound of Water splashing at the Kiel and in the summer time, it may be quite cooling being on the Boat?, due to the water below the Kiel?
