I clicked the sad icon because it is sad, because what you tell is closer to the truth than the story we were taught in school, or that is in the book of mormon (I didn't read the whole thing, was only interested in the part about the space ship).

 As one who grew up being taught this nonsense I applaud the satire of the white jewish natives and their struggles against the tyrannical brown jewish natives. I imagine Laman and Lemual, the original gangsta natives who got cursed by god with their browness would  spill their mana juice from the cup to the ground for their fallen comrades.

@Piney's_Little_Ninja paternal grandfather was from the Mormon Jones family ( yes, the same family as the dummy who was purposely buried alive)

Every single Goddamn one of them has blond hair and blue eyes.

I have a relative by marriage in my grandmother's family whose aunt was the daughter of a half navajo half payute girl who a morman man married when she was 13.   The mormon man was her maternal grandfather.   They made that story into a play for the outdoor ampitheater in Farmington, NM and I took my daughters to see it, not knowing what it was about.   Also at the time I didn't know my mother's cousins were related to the main character in the play.   It was so lopsided a story that it annoyed me so on the way home I talked to my kids about that story and what I thought of it.   Then a woman who bought the hotel my grandmother used to own told me she did not like that play because it was too much mormonism.   The part she objected to was the baptist family who abused the native girl before her navajo grandmother came to get her.   As if that was not accurate or something.
