@acute

It's time to quiz @Stiff and see if he's truly a Northerner. He will be asked questions and with every wrong answer will be bitten by a house ferret without his shots.

1. What's the capital of England?

   London

  York

  Bamburgh

2. Who's your preferred mates?

  Londoners

  Brummies

  Scots

3. Do you consider yourself Saxon or Anglo-Norse?

4. What's your thoughts on ferrets?

5. How many family members are in the SAS?

6. How many family members are outright mercenaries?

7. Do you have a 80's era Ford rusting away somewhere?

8. Did you ever sink a 80's era Ford on the Moors?

9. Do you have a 80's era Ford sunk and rusting away on the Moors?

10. Can you be understood by a American?

11. Can you be understood by Londoner?

12. If greeted by a Londoner like @freetoroam or @Tom1200 do you

 Look shocked?

 Punch them in the mouth?

 Head butt them?

 All of the above.

13. Do you think Romanization is the reason Southerners are such twits?

14. Do you think the North should of razed Birmingham to the ground so it couldn't be rebuilt?

15. Do you go on "Pub Crawls" or "Hot Trods"?

16. When on said adventures are you tempted to burn and loot?

17. How many family members have rusty vintage Rovers?

More drilling to come..........

OK let's give it a whirl...

1 London

2 Scots

3 Never really thought about it

4 Weasely recognised but stoatally not what I'd have as a pet

5 None that I know of but no doubt there's a couple of them in the AA

6 None that I know of (but if they were real mercenaries, they wouldn't tell me)

7 Not anymore (but I want one!!!) A couple of friends have though ;-)

8 Nope. Sank one in a local verge though after overshooting a T junction. No wait, that was a 70's era Cortina. Sank an 80's era Fiat in a farmers field after barrel rolling it a few times on a twisty bend

9 See above

10 Hell yeah (although I don't think anyone really understands me)

11 By Jove, that would depend on the 'tumble down the sink' and being 'Scotch mist'

12 Nod and say "Aaaight"

13 Possibly, although I think it's more to do with the weather. The more equatorial, the twittier

14 There's certainly some validity there but it's a tough call

15 Pub crawls. Definitely pub crawls

16 Who isn't?

17 Hmmm. None that I can think of. I think most of them are sensible and wouldn't have purchased one in the first place.

I always enjoy a good drilling :D

Another one I've not really thought much about. I'm not really into family history at all although my surname's origin suggests it's of Welsh descent so maybe a clan around there. I don't play with them though.

I guess I can only answer a few of those questions.  1.  York, 2.  Scotts, 7.  I have a 60's era Ford rusting somewhere.

The Kings of the North always ruled from Bamburgh. York had a habit of getting torched by both sides.

Ah, see I don't know my history.  I don't even know what parts of the UK my English, Irish and Scottish ancestors were from.  I only know that one group of Scottish ancestors spent a few decades on the Isle of Mann before joining the rest of the clan in Michigan.

My Mother was born in the U.K. and her father and my great aunt were well respected historians and he was a respected translator and classicalist also, so I had it jammed down my throat.

That's why I can break down the Bible into little bits and tell you whose hands were really on it and why they wrote what they wrote.
