What's Worse: Too Hot Or Too Cold Weather?

In your opinion, what's worse: a summer day in which the weather is too hot for you, or a cold, frigid day during the middle of the winter that is too cold for you?  Why?

For me, a cold winter day is worse.  I tend to like hot weather anyway, even though I've lived most of my life in Maine, United States.

It’s easier for me to acclimate to hot weather. I like desert hiking, but I live in Iowa, so I hike at a nearby state park in the afternoon when it’s really hot and humid. Then when I go to the desert, I can tolerate even higher temperatures because of the dry heat.
