Mark, I don't know if I should drop my comments here, now that I think about. It's a ton of words I recently got inspired to write. I have them in draft form since Monday, and I have modified them a few times, adding and taking away as the inspirations came and went. This morning the inspiration were more powerful, forceful, as I had little to do but type, changing and adding more than I was thinking to do myself. It's been whittled down some, but more added after the main whittle. But it's still a considerable wall of words. Our forum section neighbors would never read more than a line or two, at best, if at all.

I don't want to continue hijacking your blog, as it also seems to me that's what is happening, although not intentional, I assure you.

Therefore let me know if I should just leave, as I have taken advantage of your hospitality, and may be overstaying my welcome. I apologize, sincerely.

And may God be with us, even when we are just talking to ourselves.

I was blessed  that day, as the better part of me severely reduced my intended reply to shreds, and what is left is just a thread of the vest I usually wear, periodically.

Since you serve a mix of Christianity, with a twist of Catholicism in many, if not all of your entries, you are discussing political issues even when talking to yourself. And the political oriented entries are in fact being presented to anyone chancing to view your public accessible blog. Which then becomes open for discussion to others, through the elective comment link.

Therefore I think that you need to reconsider your view on the meaning of something as being political. Because as I see it, which you may not, you are presenting political views of your political party. Therefore you are not true to yourself, nor granting yourself your wish of not wanting to engage in politics with others. You are, most defiantly. And here is why you are campaigning for the political sect (Catholicism) belonging to the major political party of your choice (Christianity). Jesus claims to be a Monarch, a King of kings, in a Kingdom yet to come, as promised. Promises, promises, and it is sweetly, taking its time. The promise as to when it will be kept, was wrapped around a fig tree, in vague and symbolic painted words, topped with an excuse of not knowing the exact time; day and hour, telling us that only One Source, exclusively, knows exactly when the clock strikes the hour, and the Source is His Father, a Good Father to all us. Clocks are time keepers, chronologists. And that reminds me of a Greek mythological character, since I had developed a passion for the myths at a very young age. When this Kingdom will get here, Jesus will be crowned by His father, as the Absolute ruler, forever and ever.

Oh, forgot almost.... Cronus is the mythological character reminding me of the specific time piece.  KRONOS (Cronus) was the King of the Titanes and the god of time, in particular time when viewed as a destructive, all-devouring force. He ruled the cosmos during the Golden Age after castrating and deposing his father Ouranos (Uranus, Sky).

There are 5 major and distinct political constitutions of States: Monarchy, Aristocracy, Oligarchy, Democracy, and Tyranny.

Monarchy is a political system in which supreme authority is vested in the monarch, an individual ruler who functions as head of state.

And I'm not selecting a specific sect to voice my political views, as other Christian sects are not much better, in the long run, as far as I am concerned. This is in no way a criticism of you, personally, nor of you free will choice to follow whomever and whatever you please. But I'm open to discussion, if you want to talk outside of yourself. You are a good person, and I feel it. But I have also heard some words I believe to be wise, which tell of a road to hell which is paved with a lot of good intentional pavers.

Without going into the details as to the health of the Catholic State, one always ruled by a monarchical "Holy" Father. The term holy is used very loosely by me, in reference to the long historical list of past holy monarchs. Most of them, not fit to loosen the strings of the sandals used by Jesus, when He went around teaching, and feeding the poor with food, drink, and hope, while dictating the minimum requirements of the law to follow and practice, for getting access to His Father's Kingdom. Which boils down to politics, for anyone wanting to be accepted as a permanent citizen of this Kingdom, yet to come. They have to swear to follow the law, and promise not swear too often, especially at the Holy Ghost, as that will defiantly keep you out in the cold, where there will be gnashing of teeth.  

Following are snippets from the internet, to pave the road to Rome, as we also hear that all roads lead to Rome, strangely enough.

The Holy See is the supreme governmental organ of the Catholic Church, representing it in the international arena. The subject of international law, for some, is the Church, while for others it is the Holy See itself. Beyond this discussion, one can verify an international performance of the latter that comprises the exercise of the right of passive and active legation, the participation as a member or as an observer in different international organizations, the celebration of bilateral (concordats or agreements of that nature) and multilateral treaties, as well as its role in the peaceful solution of international controversies.

The Holy See is the universal government of the Catholic Church and operates from Vatican City State, a sovereign, independent territory. The Pope is the ruler of both Vatican City State and the Holy See. The Holy See, as the supreme body of government of the Catholic Church, is a sovereign juridical entity under international law.

The politics of Vatican City take place in a framework of a theocratic absolute elective monarchy, in which the Pope, religiously speaking, the leader of the Catholic Church and Bishop of Rome, exercises ex officio supreme legislative, executive, and judicial power over the Vatican City (an entity distinct from the Holy See), a rare case of non-hereditary monarchy.

So, what about the Vatican city? Vatican City is the world’s tiniest country in existence. Sitting right bang in the middle of Rome, the city is home to a rich culture, famous artwork, and of course the Pope! Unique in its status, customs and people, it should come as no surprise that it is also unique in its currency. 

The Institute for Works of Religion (IOR), commonly referred to as the Vatican Bank, is a privately held financial institution located inside Vatican City. Founded in 1942, the IOR’s role is to safeguard and administer property intended for works of religion or charity. The bank accepts deposits only from top Church officials and entities, according to Italian legal scholar Settimio Caridi. It is run by a president but overseen by five cardinals who report directly to the Vatican and the Vatican’s secretary of state. Because so little is known about the bank’s daily operations and transactions, it has often been called “the most secret bank in the world.”

I suggest using music in your blog, as it awakens the slumbering soul, with harmonious, positive vibes, if the music piece is appropriately selected. As an example, here is one appropriate for our political views, which may not be that different, when it comes to the return of the Golden Age coming for sure, as it always has in eternity. I hope you are familiar with Plato, as that will make for better understanding between true Christians, as Jesus is a true philosopher, I'm told by a familiar voice, blowing in the wind.

I am just a simple monk who does write from my faith experience.  While I am Catholic, and love my faith, I have long
ago stopped really trying to change others on how they look upon the Catholic Church.  There are many opinions,
some good, some not so good, and others simply over the top in both directions.

The church has many levels.  The politics, and yes even corruption in the church do not bother me all that much,
for corruption is everywhere no matter where you look.   Power, and the love of money do lead to very serious
sin. 

I am 73, and am tired of discussions etc.  Though you do have a lot to share with others.  You are  good
writer, and much more intellectual (n a very positive way), I am just sharing thoughts, and experiences that
I feel are in no way different than most people who are on some kind of inner path.

I do not believe that hell is paved with good intentions, but with bad intentions, evil acts, and hatred.

I am not the person to have long deep discussions with on the subject that you seem to want to discuss.  I am
just trying to grow each day in my love of God, as well as others, and my prayers for for all.   I do not look upon
myself as political, yet I know when one writes as much as I do, it may look that way. 

Also, a blog is a simple sharing of my thoughts with anyone who wants to read them.  If I would want to debate, dialogue etc., i would post on the
forums.  While I do post from time to time, I refrain for the most part, for the forums are for debate, would not be fair to post and not want to
spend lots of time debating.  Also the monastic life, it schedule, precludes al lot of time on the web, which is needed to spend time in discussion with
someone of your depth, and intelligence.
