The Christmas season is upon us and has been since Halloween honestly, there are some who are thankful that the November turkey day is over and I’m not talking about the elections at the beginning of the month. Last year Christmas blogs I did something about Krampus, and other winter holidays. This year I’ll do something a little different and perhaps spark some ideas for people to do small acts of kindness towards their fellow human beings.

Usually at this time of year it really bothers me when people rather insipidly repeat “tis the season to do good things for people” as they do some ‘charitable’ act and let other people know about it. Blanket statements aside, I personally try to do something nice for people off the radar for the rest of the year and go super stealthy Bigfoot ninja mode during the Christmas season.

No Christmas monsters this year from me, for those who celebrate I hope it’s a good one this year. For those who don’t I still wish the best. Let’s get the season kicked off shall we?

So to start, I did a quick search for fudge so if you have the means to make up a batch or two for a neighbor or coworker here ya go. If your not sure whether they’re diabetic, or allergic to ingredients then I guess just ask… non awkwardly.

For those without a fireplace but still want that yule log experience, this is for you.

Some christmas songs for your enjoyment.

How about a Christmas mystery?

A little Laurel and Hardy and other seasonal fare for your viewing pleasure.

Last but not least what sort of Christmas would this be without something weird from me like non traditional horror Christmas shorts?

Spoiler

I hope everyone enjoys in their own way some good end of the year festivities. I for one will use the months to rewatch some of my favorite black and white horror movies. At least that’s safer then being stampeded to death by childish adults searching for that next new big gift this year for some spoiled brat. As always my fellow UM peeps, keep it classy, until next year ciao.
