ARg!
Hey guys...It's been a while, but I've been grounded, and sort of neglict this blog more then my MSN blog...so, you know.
Things are really friggin' busy for me...between drill, drama, speeches, and history project, I feel like crap. Really not cool. But, Drama is tommorow night, and I'm confident about it. Gander on Friday, so I'm looking forward to that, and Easter the week after.

So, during my grounding, I decided to read George Orwell's future gone wronge masterpiece, "Nineteen Eighty-Four".
Holy, Crap.
It blew my mind. I mean, wow. It's about the government controlling everything, and about the wars they are having. But, one thing really stuck out to me. THe gov't party in the book use this as there slogan:
Freedom is Slavery
War Is Peace
I think that right, haha....but anyway, the point stands. Is our freedom really what it's cracked up to be, and how much of it does the gov't really control? I mean, we really don't have much of a say when we go to war, and what are we giving up for it? How much do we really now about the countries, and situations that we, and places like the US, go to war over? I really don't know.....
To end, I want to end with a quote from Orwell...and I don't think it could be any more true....
"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, and that is all"

Well, I got to do some History work....arg.
Untill later....
TFG
Oh, and wish me luck with Drama and the Speak Offs!
