UK PM branded a "known liar" by TV News Boss

As far as im aware,in this country you vote for political parties not leaders. I can't this question being asked so often when May took over from Cameron, or when Broon took over from Blair, but then it now suits the political class that oppose brexit to make a fuss now.
  3. Riiight. It is too complex for us modern folk to figure out. We ain't smart enough today to handle such ancient structures(sarcasm)

Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor solution?

The problem is that after 2000+ years there is no way to tell just 'what' exists in his tomb and how much it would be affected by excavation and subsequent possible deterioration of artifacts by exposure to the modern atmosphere. It's MASSIVE and cost prohibitive to cover the entire layout and even then it's not a guarantee that anything is left of his corpse but bones and even those may be in terrible shape. No one is willing to excavate just to satisfy YOUR curiousity, nor should they. cormac

UK PM branded a "known liar" by TV News Boss

Well lets see.....before the brexit referendum all the leaders of the main political parties promised to honour the result of the public vote. 3 years down the line none of them have and indeed are doing their utmost to renague on the result, except Boris. This tells me that he is more trustworthy than all of them.

Does democracy also include the right to choose one's leader? in which case, where do you put the process that allows the ruling party to choose the Prime Minister without the people having any say in it ?
  9. Of course it is not my thread, duh.
  10. This is a picture of an ancient Chinese Mummy. Could we compare that image to one of the body buried in the tomb of Qin if they opened that tomb??

Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor solution?

Can you leave baseless opinions pretending to be what is "likely" concerning Qin Shi Huang out of the thread. The fact is that you don't know what is likely, you didn't even know enough to understand what constituted China back then. BTW, it apparently should be pointed out that this is NOT your thread. cormac
  12. The notion is getting a current image of any possible body buried in the tomb of Qin.
  13. Fact- Caucasian mummies have been found in China Fact - The current Chinese government hides historical events Opinion - The current Chinese government will not allow the tomb of Qin because they are concerned the contents would not conform to their view of History. *many disagree with my opinion

Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor solution?

How is anyone supposed to believe you would know anything from pictures, you've already mangled understanding DNA? And you apparently didn't know what constituted China in the 3rd century BC. cormac
  15. You changed the focus off of the topic of this thread. Simple as that.

Obama judge :WI to pay for reassignment surg

I guess im coming at it from the perspective that medicaid is a temporary stop gap safety net to help folks get on their feet after an event of some sort. From that perspective such a surgery can be placed on hold for a year or two with medicaid still offering psychological services in the interim, IMO. Your argument would hold for the permanently disabled however.
  17. Hey you are all over the place, hard for us simpletons to keep up. Can you keep to the subject matter specific to this thread and leave the irrelvant suppositions such as 'pictures of my great grand parents' out of it?

I get it, you get backed into a corner you move the posts. cormac
  19. The pictures/images I am refering to would be of the body buried in the tomb of Qin.

  21. OFF TOPIC This thread is about the tomb of Qin. Can we stay on topic?
  22. Yes, we know. You and your majority do not agree with my opinion.

Iran has seized a British oil tanker

You really need to start doing even the most basic research, it's just making you look bad at this point. "Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has approved the appointment of 40,000 Sunni fighters to the Popular Mobilization Units, a force that was once almost exclusively Shiite." https://web.archive.org/web/20160401040009/http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2016/01/iraq-sunnis-join-shiite-popular-mobilization-forces.html So you saying that the Sunnj forces arent PMF is wrong. As for the numbers of the PMF loyal to Iran while this isnt all of them these are the bigger groups. First there is Badr which depending on the source has between 10,000 and 50,000. Badr claims to have 50,000 but outside sources seem to put it closer to 10,000. Then there is Kataib Hezbollah which claims to have 30,000 but outside sources put closer to 400. Finishing out the large militias there is Harakat Hezbollah al Nujaba with 9,000 and Kataib Sayyad al Shuhada with 2,000. Adding up those larger militias puts the number of Iran backing militia between 21,400 and 91,000 but Badr and Kataib Hezbollah are almost certainly inflating their numbers. Of course that isnt all of the militia groups but it seems most of the groups either get counted among the larger groups or only number in the tens to low hundreds at most. One thing I do specifically like about your post is how you say Sadr is against outside influence in Iraq but will aid Iran if Israel attacks Iran within Iraq but will have no problem with Iran building what would be large military bases within Iraq to strike Israel which would also be violating Iraqi sovereignty, then again you never let facts get in the way of what you believed before so why start now. Lastly there is the matter of equipment, seems you missed the part where I said generally which isnt surprising given how you ignore anything that doesnt prop up your unfounded beliefs. Even then having a handful of tanks and a few Humvees and other lightly armored vehicles doesnt really suggest a heavily armed force.

So you have pictures of your Great Grandparents from, say, 8 generations then? I doubt it. cormac
  25. Family? You knew I would pull the family excuse? You knew I would say that family has nothing to do with DNA? ok.

They're not considered as such here by the majority. The latter is rather held in contempt. cormac
