Might just be a strange coincidence. And maybe you have a fear of having a heart attack. To be honest, I think most of us do.

Yes you read that correctly. Which is what I find odd.

    Cat's Ghost Successfully Photographed

One thread is not very strong. Enough threads can form a strong twain. That's logical in my opinion. I absolutely believe the paranormal is real and will exercise my freedom of speech. It's an important subject that eventually touches on the most important questions of life so I will speak the truth for the edification of others even if personally threatened.

not so fast, if she is way "off" then she might really believe its her dead cat, and in that its not a blantant lie, to me its only a lie if the teller knows it they might be so deep in mental issues they do not know real from imagined, i believe the lady we bought this house from was like that, the stories she told to lots of people she believed but i have seen zero evidence anything existed outside her own mind.

UK NHS blunders costing an arm and a leg

"While 23% of European Union citizens claim to have been directly affected by medical error, 18% claim to have experienced a serious medical error in a hospital and 11% to have been prescribed wrong medication. Evidence on medical errors shows that 50% to 70.2% of such harm can be prevented through comprehensive systematic approaches to patient safety." Full report at WHO: http://www.euro.who.int/en/health-topics/Health-systems/patient-safety/data-and-statistics From 2013 at Harvard HSPH: "More than 43 million people are injured worldwide each year due to unsafe medical care, according to a new study from Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH). These injuries result in the loss of nearly 23 million years of “healthy” life. The findings represent a major new effort to calculate the global burden of unsafe medical care across a range of adverse health events." Just curious. As that's the age when people start having major health problems. If I read your opening post correct, you saw yourself having the heart attack? Did I read that right?
  9. Snowden exposed the criminal voyeurism program of the USA which allowed the Government to get inside your bedroom via your webcam. Totally immoral. They should give him the medal of honor! Others are saying to hang him.

Well, I have the opposite attitude, in certain things people are not basically honest, whether it is with them selves or others. And paranormal activity is one of those things. Were you there when the person took the photograph or are you taking that person's word or do you have other information that leads to to know there was no cat?

most people are honest? thats nice. i try to start with beinfit of doubt, i dont like calling people liars in fact i find it better to be delusinal, even have mental issues distorting a persons view of reality than to just be some liar, i have met both. just because i go into it being open doesnt mean the person doesnt sadly too many times prove me wrong, countless times i have in a very objective way asked for evidence, proof, and nearly instantly the fire storm furor of ad hominem attacks begain, not my fault they are angry they have zero and to take it out on me for mearly not being a gullible blind faith true believer of their story, so of course right there they loose all credibility and intregrity with me. Fish mentioned something that i had really jar me in the early 90s when i was working both at a Santeria botanical and deejaying a goth club, i never saw such deep blind belief in a person it really messed up his life, i hope hes okay now.

Right, it's back to our trust of random people issue. I generally find people basically honest about their experiences without knowing for sure, so I consider while reserving certainty. In this case it would have to been a blatant lie as there was no physical cat to cause an honest mistake.

Yeah, its all fake and even if they proved it was real its still fake.
  15. No I said this is fake for sure. The Elf video is way better than this.

I already said that I don't trust photos as proof of anything because I know they can be manipulated. If I don't know the person, then I would have to look them in the eyes to get whether I think they are trust worthy or not.

I can hear people’s thoughts. Help!

HI Evangeline and welcome to the forum. Keep your mind open to other options. Our conscious awareness is an amazing thing. One reason it is so useful is that it filters out a lot of observations that it doesn't think we need at the time. Otherwise we would be flooded by meaningless data. Once in a while a message comes through that does not seem like it comes from our conscious mind. I am not psychic or a witch, but a couple of times my voice has has told me something I really needed to know. You could be a very aware person and picked up cues from the boy. Many people sub-vocalize their thoughts, making speech patterns that are not even as loud as a whisper. You might have picked up his expression through peripheral vision. Or even a subtle smell. Maybe he likes you. Awareness may not seem like much of a supernatural gift, but you would be surprised how little most people get by with. It is something you can practice and improve. Requires not outside entities and is beneficial.
  20. Here's the issue. It's just stories. About a subjective experience that is up for interpretation. They might has seen something, experienced something and that something might not be what they think it actually was. So instead of saying this percent or that percent, just take it as a tale. Because putting any % on story or claim that can not be authenticated just shows your bias, which is why I poke fun at the 'meter'. When you do that it basically shows us how bias you really are. Another thing, if these entities are real. What's stopping me from sending a malicious entity to haunt you? Unless you don't think such things are possible, which would beg the question about how much you believe the paranormal/supernatural is real.

They were new to the neighborhood. So no prior knowledge of their health or lifestyle. The most interaction I've had with them is a casual wave when I seem them out in the yard.

But where was this person not reasonable?
  23. "More than 1,400 restaurants in the UK have closed in little over 12 months as the “casual dining crunch” continues to hurt the hospitality industry. "The number of restaurants going insolvent since June 2018 has increased by 25 per cent, new research suggests, with both independents and multi-million pound high street chains affected." Full report at iNews UK: https://inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyle/food-and-drink/uk-restaurants-1400-closures-casual-dining-crunch-brexit/ "UHY Hacker Young found that the UK’s top 100 restaurants had made a collective £82m loss in the year to 30 June 2019, down from a pre-tax profit of £102m 12 months previously." I am the same way but have different experiences. There are some circumstances where I will give someone the benefit of the doubt, but others where I have experienced too many hoaxers or people who are not reasonable with their "proof".

New Zealanders hand over guns in Christchurch

Except for a year when we lived in NSW, most of my 17 years growing up in Australia was in the South East of Victoria, mostly the Mornington Peninsula. It was during the time that the more recent Underbelly programs were based on, and I personally met quite a few of the leading characters through my Greek bosses. There has always been danger from guns but the number of guns per person is not as big an issue as it is in places with less gun control and at least those guys really only killed each other.

I try to be objective based on my assessment of all my human experiences. I think most people are honest when telling their experiences. In this case it would have to have been a blatant intentional lie. Possible.
