Canada is becoming a third world country
qxcontinuum replied to qxcontinuum's topic in United States and the Americas
How fast you resolved the problem! 😀 In a world where representatives of institutions , can say whatever they want people should take everything with a grain of salt right? I bet a few thousent Canadians at least, have bough a Faraday cage and started hanging the keys at the door since police have advised to doing so. After all, Canadians are law abiding trustworthy citizens listening to police and officials , and so we must. Right? Wrong , because in a democratic society , single individuals encountering bad experiences, loopholes and gaps have discovered after doing research that there's thousents like them facing same problems and have started advocating for a change , enough to get attention of politicians and lobysts. -

The Progressive Liberal of today is an oxymoron label. They would be more apt to use the label Regressive Liberal or simply drop Liberal all together. 😂 -
Couple order life-sized cake replica of their beloved pet dog, find it "too realistic" to eat
Still Waters posted a topic in Weird, Bizarre and Offbeat News
A couple was left howling after they received a cake replica of their beloved pet dog that was "too realistic" to eat. Anna Railton and Chris Smowton, from Oxfordshire, ordered the edible version of their whippet Arthur as a joint birthday treat. But when the life-sized delicacy arrived, the pair described it as "uncanny". The icing-clad pooch was plated up to guests at their birthday party. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-68601886 -

That is not exactly what history remembers, he provided what minorities have wanted : Tito wavered between supporting a centralised or more decentralised federation and ended up favouring the latter to keep ethnic tensions under control; thus, the constitution was gradually developed to delegate as much power as possible to each republic in keeping with the Marxist theory of withering away of the state. He envisaged the SFR of Yugoslavia as a "federal republic of equal nations and nationalities, freely united on the principle of brotherhood and unity in achieving specific and common interest." A very powerful cult of personality was built around him, which the League of Communists of Yugoslavia maintained even after his death. After Tito's death, Yugoslavia's leadership was transformed into an annually rotating presidency to give representation to all of its nationalities and prevent the emergence of an authoritarian leader. Twelve years later, as communism collapsed in Eastern Europe and ethnic tensions escalated, Yugoslavia dissolved and descended into a series of interethnic wars. -
Photoshopping a family portrait is at best manipulative, at worst an attempt to lie to the public. People have had enough of lies. And I am sure some people are just reTweeting the CTs just for fun.

Your sentence is a exacerbation of the statement I made: Defending the propriety with a shotgun if i lived in USA. In an hypotetical scenario of a home invasion, criminals would leave the premises if a gun is present and the use of it is not necessary. To your point : "You don't have guns rampant, you don't have regular school shootings and you don't have Trump. Sounds better than America tbh." My response accordind to my reserch; there are over 6 million of firearms registered in Canada with 4.5 million registered gun owners . The fact we don't have mass shootings and issues like in the USA is because the vetting process is solid and whomever is given a liceence is a responsible owner. https://www.instagram.com/p/C3x21PaLju8/?igsh=Y3g2ODl2YnQ5eHVj Are you talking about this type of videos Pierre is sharing ? There real regardless of his motives. When you have kids , you should care about where you live. "My winning" is very Canadian according to the news: there's an outcry coming from citizens asking the government to step in, every day. -

Napoleon (2023) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13287846/ I only watched it because it was a Ridley Scott movie. It was OK but nothing special. -
Yeah even this has become the subject of conspiracy theories with people on social media claiming that the footage does not show William and Kate. It's incredible how one photograph can cause such a PR nightmare for the royals.

You are trolling now. You introduced a quote to the thread - for what purpose? When asked to comment on it you are evasive. How do you put it it? "You twist and turn like a twisty turny thing." -

I was doing benefit paperwork for several Marines at our tribal center about 10 years ago and the VA was responding that all the cancers were "inherited" including one poor guy who was guarding nukes in the 50s on top of drinking at Lejeune. Of course they told my stepfather and uncle that Agent Orange was not a factor as cancer ate him up and lupus ate up my uncle in the 80s. -

France makes more money from their Royalty (income from tourism) that Britain does, and they chopped their heads off years ago. The British RF hides its wealth- it wouldn't need to do that if it was value for money: How the British royal family hides its wealth from public scrutiny | Monarchy | The Guardian And as for parading Boris around the world- I'm all for it.
