The Republicans and Democrats are in a serious game of chicken... There will be no winners only losers... The political system here is totally flawed...

Well, I spent a nice part of the day protesting in the streets today. A great weather day and a successful women's march against Trump.
Arrived at it a little late, and was a bit of a spur of the moment decision since I didn't even know it was happening all over the country till later in the day.  But regardless there was a ton of people here and it felt good standing up for the right cause.
Of course the one we were all protesting had to spin things around and try to take credit for it by tweeting that all the protests were in 'celebration' of his inauguration last year.  Like seriously, who's gonna buy that?
Anyway, it's likely that it won't do anything, but it's nice to be a part of letting this administration and it's supporters know that they should be very afraid of the elections in 2018. Very, VERY afraid...

      It's quiet on UM tonight!
Vlad is waffling on about Trump, third_eye has insomnia, and STHS is drinking tea.
Move along please. Nothing to see here!
