Dreaming?

I hope no one posted anything like this already.

But I've been wondering about something... and I hope

someone can sort of help out. I was wondering about

when we dream of other people so they dream of us?

Possibly the same time as we are dreaming of them.

And when we dream of strangers people we can't put a name

to do you think that person is maybe dreaming of us and also

wondering of who we might be as well? Just something I often

wonder about.

I don't think so. I tell my friends about the dreams I have all the time, and I've yet to have one say, "Oh yeah! I dreamed about you too!"

well when people dream of others they have a sort of mental bond, your soul has two sides, a spiritual side and a physical side... if you catch my drift... well your spiritual self can be controled to creat dreams/ visions of your choice by simply writing down/ drawing out a question or scene and reciting it/ picturing it and nothing else to yourself right when you go to sleep... the two spiritual souls combine and one controls the other...

If you dream of someone you have never met before do you think they exist?

The face of some random person in a dream is sometimes unclear and you cannot make them out, but those times that you can see them. Are they real people or something your mind makes up?

COPIED FROM A DIFFERENT THREAD:

I know I've seen a post like this before, but I can't remember where it was, or who it's by. XP

Anyways, but do you think that someone can have a dream about someone else, and that same person have the same exact dream, but just in their perspective? :\

My Mom and Dad one time had a dream about vampires on the very same night. Of course they couldn't remember it exactly, but it is just such a strange coincidence that they would both have a dream about vampires, of all things, on the same night.

So... I would just think it's interesting, that if a person can have a dream about someone, then that person can have the very same dream with the other person in it. And if all of this astral travel is true, and that some dreams actually take place in the astral realm, then maybe both of the people are actually there in the same astral realm. ...It wouldn't explain the vampires though... :P Unless the vampires were created from someone's mind, since apparently in the astral realm you can create anything you want to.

Anyways, just thought it was interesting to note. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

And if there is a thread already open on this topic (since I know I saw it somewhere before XP) then please let me know and I will join that discussion instead. :)

I wrote this thread because I couldn't remember where I've seen this topic already. :P But now that I found it...

I hope no one posted anything like this already.

I definitely think this could happen. I once dreamt of someone that I've never seen before, but upon going to one of my Dad's workplace, I saw the same exact person.

And I've often wondered this too. There are so many random people that I've seen in dreams, that it seems almost close to impossible to think we might just be imagining them. ;P It's like they have to be real people, because I see them with perfect clarity. That might not be true, but it's fun to speculate on and think it could be true. And like I said in my other post, if astral travel is possible, then we could all be meeting in some kind of dreamland state. ;P It's just that some remember their dreams more than other people, so it's not likely that both or all of the people will remember the same dreams.

I am really interested in questions like this. :)

I always tell people I dream of em. But then they are all like well you must think of me alot to dream of me...

I think I've said this before somewhere but I hav dreamt of a girl and her brother, I've never heard of em before

but recognized that maybe the name came from where one of my aunts lived. So I called her and asked her if she knew

the last name in which she did... and come to find out the girl did exist...as for her brother he was deceased.

And my aunt was like why would you dream bout them? I said dunno jus dreamt of em and that they had lots of horses... and come to

know they do or they did can't recall. Was so weird. So when I do dream bout people I don't kno and I get there name in dreamland

I write it down and maybe one day I'll run into them or hear of em. *not stalker like tho* And say hey, I dreamt of you. lol! Prolly freak

em out.

Lucky for me the people I dream about don't share the dream. Otherwise I would get Slapped in the Face every morning.

lol  ;P That was pretty good. :)

I've had dreams, well, lucid dreams, where I will deliberately make someone appear, and when they'd appear, they'd look around as if they're completely lost, or don't know how they got there. It was really strange. And the first notion I got was that I pulled them out of the dream they were having. I'm sure many people have experienced being in one dream that they were having, perhaps swimming on a nice beach while eating peanuts or something :P, and then all of a sudden the dream scene changes to where they're now all of a sudden in a different dream. And this was just the impression I got that maybe when I have those experiences, it's someone else who's pulled me out of my dream.

Anyways, it's just a fascinating subject to me. :)

i used to learn about the women my ex was cheating on me with by dreaming about them, psychic visions about them, etc. sometimes i never met them but knew just what they looked like, how he felt about them, and what his friends, family, etc. felt about these girls. it comes from deeply wanting to know. now i put up psychic blocks because it was so painful. so now i feel i am ignorant and deprived of that gift but whatever. life is a journey and we decide.

I dont think that it is possible to dream of something or someone you've never met before, im sure the person you think you never met before is actually collaboration of different qualities or characteristics of people that you know or a representation of your subconscious self.

I dont think it is possible to dream about someone or something you've never seen before. When it seems like you have never been a place or seen a person its probably because your mind pieces random thoughts or visions together, or maybe you are seeing an insight to your own self (like thoughts or feelings). I generally think dreams are random memories caused by sporadic firing of neurons while you sleep kind of like a suspended reality produced by your sub-conscience. But sometimes the coincidences can be quite scary.
