MordorOrc Posted June 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Subsonic? Term which refers to aircraft flying at speeds just below the speed of sound. I think that's what it means anyway.

qxcontinuum Posted June 20, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) 27.8' does not sound football field sized. But its brother does.... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_Grumman_X-47B And X-47C: Proposed larger version with a payload of 10,000 lb (4,500 kg) and a wingspan of 172 ft (52.4 m).[3] So don't we think that since military has already these triangular shaped planes, they are not obviously ran by aliens, and when one of these is spotted , it will spark a lot of rumours and imagination? qxcontinuum Posted June 20, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Looks like a stealth bomber. Close but much modern and stealth. It is also a drone, meant to run quietly and efficient
qxcontinuum Posted June 20, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) And the most important part and for which I added in my initial first post, a second link, was this triangular shaped planes were built by Germans during the end of ww2 and was designed to reach speeds of 16.000 km/hr. That was an unmatchable speed, during that time. Consequently after liberation and the end of ww2 this project has been moved to US and studied by Nasa only understood in 1960's. Obviously along this way there were likely numerous planes as such built as for experiment and often seen by citizens as UFO's Edited June 20, 2014 by qxcontinuum
