Massive Soviet Build-up in the Arctic

In the age of WiFi and starbucks IP address means nothing. And there many ways to cheat the system when using a hard line.

Next,

The greatest Military super power in the history of the world is bogged down in a war that was launched on false information or false intentions.

To this day you cannot with certainty connect the dots that led to the events of 911. Yes 3 aircraft struck the WTC and Pentagon but maybe those poor arabs were just patsies and the whole thing was done by remote, maybe the jets were loaded with some high explosives.... maybe there were missles. Maybe it was an inside neocon job. Who knows.

Russian and Chinese arms are used....and designed to kill US and NATO forces.......and this is done everyday. It's a classic proxy war. in 1980 it was the Reds in Afghanistan, now it's the US and NATO. The world still runs on oil. The COMS hav'nt lost an inch of ground. By any stretch the enemies of the West have grown stronger and more united because of US blunders. China have won the trade war and have stolen technology that has cost the US and allies trillions to develop over the years. Central and South America along with Cuba are uniting with others like Iran. A Red Chinese company runs the Panama canal, the largest container port in the world has been built by the Chinese in the Bahamas....on and on it goes.

North America is slowly being surrounded and now infiltrated by millions of foreigners that do not have good intentions or other allegences.

The Bear and the Dragon are sneakin up our six... while we was out huntin Camels.

If you think you can't be tracked, then you most DEFINITELY aren't privy to any inside intelligence in the least bit.

Let's see if you are in the know.

Where is the second largest Submarine base on the west coast?

Here's a clue... Gwaii Haanas.

The complex is visible on Google. Let see if any of you detractors come come up with grid coords for it.

Try and find the Vice President's house on google.

When you find it, let me know.

And I want to see a clear picture of it.

Oooooh how interesting. I can get clear images of the Pentagon (nice park in the middle), CIA headquarters at Langley, the White House, even the NSA, but the Naval Observatory is 'blurred out'. And this is not the usual "we havn't got round to taking hi-res photo's yet" type of blurring. This looks deliberate. (the blurring is only within the circle of the observatory ring road.)

So what's so special about the Naval Observatory ?

I would not know.

But I do know that every military in the world has a group of specialists that "retouch" aerials before being released to the public.

This was a very well kept secret until the 8o's when in a little German town called Lautzenhausen they were discussing a new zoning law. To their surprise, there were Hahn AB (now known as Frankfurt/Hahn airport) should have been there was a dense forest on the aerial photo. Naturally they called in the journalists to present us with evidence of a cover up/ conspiracy. We had quite a field day with that one for a few weeks.

"Soviets". Are you having a drug induced flashback? What are you talking about China, Illegal alliens, Soviets, Bloods and Crips are all part of an elaborate conspircasy made up by Tupac Shakur, Biggie and Elvis who are all alive and well and living in a secret Soviet base next to Santas Crib.

And the Word is Maskirovka or "Camoflage".

WElcome to the Conspiracy Oxymoron. You've obviously not read the ENTIRE thread-series, so let me bring you up to date...

Elvis does NOT live in a secret base. He actually works in a chip shop in South Yorkshire. (obviously, I'm not going to give you the exact village, but you can google it).

Tupac Shakur and Biggie are violent racist "rap musicians"... but their agenda is actually controlled - like so many others - by the RELAS. Knowing RELAS's methods, a secret artic base (as proposed in the OP) is not unrealistic... albeit unproven. No doubt they use lasers to defeat the French 'SPOT' satelite system (as previously discussed), and sheer political pressure to defeat release of the US NRO images.

Thanks for correcting my earlier post... I reffered to "mastrikova " .. but you are correct, the proper spelling is - as you point out - Maskirovka.

I was trying to figure out what it was, my Russian is far from perfect so I just thought that I didn't know that word.

Hee hee - don't worry about it. The only Russian words I know are from Tom Clancy novels... and I spelt 'Maskirovka ' wrong, even though Tom spelt it right. Oxymoron had the correct spelling.

But then, Oxymoron spelt 'Maskirovka ' correct, but fumbled the English version ('Camouflage')

(he spelt it "Camoflage!).

Errr... unless the US spells it differently ?

But then, the only reason I spelt "Camouflage" correctly is because I cut'n'pasted from a dictionary website.

Question: how does ships-tomcat spell words like "camouflage" and "Maskirovka" ?

Answer: I don't , if I can possiby avoid it :P

On the grounds of the United States Naval Obseratory was the residence of the military head of the US Navy, the Chief of Naval Operations. Some 25-30 years ago this was turned into the official residence of the Vice President of the United States. The White House is fairly open and known. But the V.P.'s home is not that well know for security reasons.

Well, indeed. But why blurr the area on Google ? Isn't the observatory circle (if not the individual houses) open to the public ? If so, then there is nothing you could learn on Google Earch that you couldn't learn by simply walking around.

It doesn't seem to make sense :(

With the kind of resolution you get from that area it makes a lot of sense, it would be clear enough to see security perimeters, warning system and so on. Not that I think somebody would really go after Cheney, but he will not live there forever

Well, yeah, I can see that. But why just the Naval Observatory ? Why not the White House, the Pentagon, The CIA headquarters.... even the NSA headquarters. Non of them have 'blurring' ? I can even see Groom Lake airbase (area 51) in sharp detail.

Hmmm

How many people actually knew that there was such a thing five years ago? That is the difference. There is no reason to hide what everybody knows.

Massive Soviet Build-up in the Arctic and North Atlantic.

We have running missions out of CFS Alert with the Inuit Rangers. This is way up in the Arctic. Our unit is Canadian Forces Crypto Maintenance Unit (CFCMU) but we also have a crossover role as combat engineers. We have noticed heavy Soviet build-up in the Arctic since may.

We have buzzed and fired upon dozens of times by RED Fighters, the ones with Plasma Stealth. We call em S-37's.

http://www.spacewar.com/reports/Russian_Bo...oss_Arctic.html

Our F18's are great but they scramble out of Cold Lake or Alaska. The Reds got a base much closer. Radar won't pick em up.

In June one of our patrols got hit with small arms, they were in a Bv206S... an amphibious APC.

With IRAQ and AFGH everybody is stretched thin, we got reinforced by some JTF2 who are the best at cold weather but they went off to AFGH within a week.

We are supposed to do regular Sovernty patrols but nobody is going far from base. Supposedly an F-22 from Alaska Penetrated RED airspace and gotta high res pics of 12 brigades on the move.

We train alot with US,UK, and Swedes and they are getting hit with loads of Dry Runs... thats is unloaded/unarmed Russian Fighter/Bombers doing successful mock attack on NATO targets.

Someone told me that a site called DEBKAfile has a story about Red Aircraft dry running UK and Scandanavia.

Keep ya posted.

Dear sir or whatever you are, you are full of it. The only APC up here is the one on display in Yellowknife in front of the military HQ. There have been no incidents with Russians. F-18 base out of the FOL sites. The Rangers do soveirnty patrols but not armed response. Rangers do not have a base they patrol from each individual community does a local patrol with support from Joint Task Force North personel. And no we aren't laying claim to any tundra for resources, because its already ours. And I haven't seen any UK or Swede soldiers around so thats a lie too, get a grip and lay off the BS.

Why do I know this? I've lived in the arctic for twenty five years and I work for the military, specifically the Rangers. Identify yourself faker.

If Russia submitted something like this to the UN - then it is dead on arrivial. The US has supported freedom of marine transit since way before that date. And sure will not agree to something that would expand Russian influence. Britain will not do anything to carve out part of a member of the Commonwealth. Add France to that. France also has worries about restricting transit. And even China, which would be one of the biggest uses of the Northwest Passage. They would not want Russia sitting astride a new and quicker route to Europe. So a vote could be 4-1 in the Security Council, where only one vote is needed to veto. Which is why you have not heard much about it since Russia tried to pull it off.

And i've got news for you too birmingham, the people who would not let it happen are the people who own the country you speak of, Canadians. Nobody else has any say, its part of our country, we live here not the US or the Chinese not the British. You speak as if being a past member of the commonwealth means anything, it does not. France would not even be welcome here. And the UN has no say either its our waters and our country. Nobody wanted anything to do with this part of the world until they found out they could make money here. Now a bunch of Johnny come lately's show up and expect to take the cream off the top. Well the arctic is a large area, its very difficult to find bodies burried in such a large area, so anyone who wants to aly claim to what I already posses, let em try. The north belongs to northerners.

The Russian Air Force said a group of four strategic missile aircraft achieved their objectives in a major Navy and Air Force exercise off Russia's Arctic coast.

Well you just keep it there, Mr. I. Possess the North. Leave us Southerners out of it!

BTW aren't Google Earth images months old? Haven't sensitive rooftop entrance images been blanked out for security? Why bother? The baddies prefer the front door approach or is it the back? Maybe it depends on which way the target's ars. is pointing?

That is so true, the world acknowledged the north was Canada until greed took over. We all know Santa is Canadian and if there not nice you know what happens.

your in australia so whats your point. My point is there are a lot of people here who have put in a lot of thier life into the north who deserve consideration from a bunch of pansies not tough enough to live here in the first place. The late comers to the arctic seem to think they should have a say, but they shouldn't. I wouldn't go around telling you how it should be down under, so don't tell me how it goes here.

Soooo... the Artic should be left to the Northerners who are tough enough etc.

OK, guess that includes the Russians then ? They're pretty tough, accustomed to cold weather, are a bit 'North', and have territorial claims blah blah.

No problemo... us soft southerners will sit back and let the Canadians beat up the Russians. Should be entertaining :P
