explorer Posted October 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2007 They have detained him before as well, do they not keep records ? yes they do! But after Britney and Bon Jovi a record by Shahid Malik, in a US airport of all sensitive places, must have sounded like Zappa backwards! Jeepers a US airport seems like a mosque these days. Heads are hitting floors when it comes to security.

Bill Hill Posted October 29, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Even more ironic, if it turns out he was planning to bomb the USA. I'll get me coat...
explorer Posted October 29, 2007 #6 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Even more ironic, if it turns out he was planning to bomb the USA. I'll get me coat... Ho! Look out dimwits, he's getting the coat. Are you James Bond tonight, or James McLean? No! No coats happening there. Maybe Thatcher dressed as Catwoman? No! Don't tell me, David Cameron dressed as Batman! Egad, will parliament be renamed Gothminster? I'll have to stay tuned to this very channel. Or were you just coating up for the nearest beer hole in a flit of pique? Ins0mniac Posted October 29, 2007 #8 Share Posted October 29, 2007 (edited) I was stopped and searched at an airport once. Even used an explosives detection device on me and my luggage. I'm sure it was only because I was white. Racist b******s. I dunno. Security at airports. What's this world coming to!? Lotus Flower Posted October 29, 2007 #10 Share Posted October 29, 2007 I was stopped and searched at an airport once. Even used an explosives detection device on me and my luggage. I'm sure it was only because I was white. Racist b*******. I dunno. Security at airports. What's this world coming to!? My husband had the same thing when leaving Greece once. He went through their machine and it bleeped all over the place. Suddenly guards arrived from everywhere and I was kept at arms-length. It turned out that the bleeping was caused by one silver bracelet and one gold one, the zip on his jeans and his belt buckle! I thought for a minute, that they were going to give him an internal, I half expected to see the old rubber gloves
Moon Monkey Posted October 29, 2007 #11 Share Posted October 29, 2007 (edited) Try coming through Tel Aviv airport with Gaza stamps all over your UK passport, then you will know what security is. I have even had security put next to me on my flight. I am white as well, a pattern is emerging. Edited October 29, 2007 by Moon Monkey
ships-cat Posted October 29, 2007 Author #12 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Dunno... I kinda thought that there would be special arrangements in place for when an accredited member of an allied democratic government is arriving due to a formal invitation from a US government body. Whats next ? Will Gordon Brown be given a cavity-search when he next comes to visit Bush ? ( Oh please... let it be.... let it happen... ) Meow Purr.
