Ghostdancer Posted January 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2004 There's nothing related to the paranormal, but nonetheless a mystery. However, the legend of the Lost Dutchman Mine in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona has always been of interest to me. I have hiked into the area on three occasions (found no gold-lol) and marveled at the perfect example of southwest USA desert country. My own feeling is that there's no gold anywhere in the mountains, but the legend and story are both interesting. "The Killer Mountains" by Curt Gentry is probably the best book written on the subject. http://www.theoutlaws.com/gold1.htm
