crosswarrior Posted January 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2004 More than likely there is some agency that has people looking into different sites to see what goes on. It would be highly unwise not to. After all not everyone is content to merely try to change sociaty with words, arguments, and campaining. Some resort to terrorism and violence. geeohn Posted January 28, 2004 #6 Share Posted January 28, 2004 I highly doubt the CIA, NSA & FBI read this stuff. anyways, if they did they would never tell people that they are reading this post or anything. Can you imagine getting paid to just read off the site!!! That job is madddd EZ. I think the producers of the show Unexplained Mysteries do read this stuff to get ideas. However, there were some news accounts that the CIA, NSA & FBI or whoever the agencies who does this do monitor the web for terrorist communication or cells of terrorists chattings. So they are getting paid just to read important stuff. then again, what do i know!!
Nancy Posted January 28, 2004 #7 Share Posted January 28, 2004 You just never know what topics you'll find when you enter "UM"..... do you? I do know that those who monitor web sites (CIA, NSA, etc.) have commented through varies news agencies that Terror web sites come and go "in a flash." I have no LINKS to provide back up for this, so you'll have to take my word. Web sites for various Terror Groups can "exist" for as short as 15 minutes. The purpose? To transmit instructions and then "poof" as quickly as possible so as not to be traced, easily. I check my web sites STATS, daily. On both sites, there are always tons of "HITS" from the US Government and US Military. Me worried? No way! I'm glad to see this, as I have nothing to fear from the contents of my sites. Yet, in a way? I feel a little more "safe" knowing they are........ watching, and probably quite bored, at the same time...... lol!!

Nancy Posted January 30, 2004 #15 Share Posted January 30, 2004 DreamRebel? LOL!!!!! Awwwwwwwwwww... On second thought? I'd probably get more "HITS" with porn and maybe even make a buck or two..... But? Not my style!! Yes, I have two sites. One of them is shown on "UM's" Home Page. One deals with UFO's and dozens of other topics. The other deals with space. I don't feel right adverstising them here, so I'll send you the LINKS in a PM. Nancy
geeohn Posted January 30, 2004 #16 Share Posted January 30, 2004 Just heard that the there is a law called The Patriot ACT, which allows the USA government to "wire-tap" citizens and other things regarding spying. Pez Bush can veto or not veto. However, the govenment said, that The Patriot ACT is important because of the terrorist and their acts against the USA. whatever. However, how can they the government can make a logical decision in terms of who is to be spied on and who should not be spied on. Who will do this spying and how they do it. sometimes the govenment can overdo things, bigtime. got to remember the govenment is run by people and these people have personal issues. Nancy I kind of knew you do not do the porno thing on your website. hehehe
