Well.. I did see mars using a telescope and it was orange.

i was always told mars had brown dirt just like us, but the sand in the sandstorms refelcted light that looked reddish, just like water reflects blue light but is not blue.

Mars has a redish rust color. that is what i read about mars.

maybe under the surface it has other colors. maybe Like the earth, it has layers of layers of other types of rocks and minerals, you know like a layer cake...yummie!
