Spiro Posted January 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2008 About a year ago, i've been awake while sleeping, it's a weird sensation, as if i'm sleeping with my eyes wide open and that I could hear and see everything. I had that twice in my bed, and a few times in school. It's as if my mind is still awake but my body is asleep. The thing is i wasn't detached, i still was in my body. Any idea what this is or has anyone lived a similar experience? More about me: I've had weird experiences in my life. I can subconsiously predict the short term future. I remember once my friends and I were in a bus. They've been pretty sceptical about what i've been predicting to them lately. So I was running out of ways to prove them what I can really do. I just closed my eyes, and without really thinking, I just said:" In two more stops, an old lady with a white dog are gonna enter the bus" My friends thought I was crazy. And guess what? Two stops later, the old lady with the white dog get in the bus. My friends were shocked. So was I actually, after that day, I never talked about that, but I can still predict short-term future. I keep it to myself. I can also know how someone feels from the inside, sad or happy, depressed or joyful. My ex- gf got freaked out, we were talking about her life, and I literally knew what happened in her life before she eiven told me. I eiven predicted that her boyfriend was gonna break up and that he was cheating on her. I had only saw her boyfriend once. I think I have the ability to analyze people by looking at them, listen to them, and reading there minds. I came upon this forum pretty randomly. I read about astral projection, I made a link with what was happening with me, I just didn't know what it was. So this is my story. If anyone can give me more info i'd appreciate. Spiro Posted January 31, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted January 31, 2008 (edited) Yeah, I have heard of it. I checked it out on wikipedia. But it's hard to describe, the symptoms aren't the same. It's supposed to happen before shortly falling asleep, or before waking up. The thing with me, it happens in my deep sleep. In the middle of the night. AeonsOld Posted February 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2008 WOW. One of the best cognizant if that is a word posts I 've seen lately... there is hope yet! Especially if you are in high school and a male... And how 'coincidental' you joined today when for no 'reason' I spent hours discussing a long dead guy who just happened to be named Spiro Agnew -not named after Nixon's VP. Anyway to get on w/ it... in my day no one talked about this stuff it wasn't accepted. Especially guys. Even now guys my age don't want to know or admit talents. Mine started like yours. You have great potential. Develop it. The dream thing - to know and observe. If you stick to it I don't know many who can do that. I know no one who can control it but many who want to. They should progress if you stay balanced. Balance is the key - learn everything you can and seek your own truths. For our generation that flash intution/instinct is hard. We tend to question ourselves and it is still hard. However a sharp flash/instinct almost a pain in the gut we are learning. One male friend is finally admitting some of this stuff at over 55 - he had a weird feeling to pick up the phone and call a friend out of the blue. Long time no see etc. She was about to commit suicide and he talked her down. Develop your potential, ask questions always and look for answers everywhere. Good luck. Spiro Posted February 1, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Wow, it's weird. More expamples: The first impression I get, no matter how many times I change my mind about something, the real thing is always my first impression about something. And when sometimes, I look around and think, analyze in my head, be careful for all the signs, I can 'guess' the future.
Rolci Posted February 1, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2008 so why dont you walk into a casino and play on the roulettes?
Spiro Posted February 1, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) the predictions are way too vague... nothing is precise, just a slight flash, a faint sight of something. edit: anyways, I won't be bragging about it, I wanted to keep this to myself but I was just too lost. darkbreed Posted February 4, 2008 #9 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Well, it is a sleep paralysis no doubt. You just wake up in the middle of the night (forever reason, I can't know) and find your body is still asleep, and you can see through closed eyes because you are slightly out of phase with your physical body, in other words your mind is in your astral body and slightly hovering a bit outside your physical. So basically, what you should try to do in this state, is to simply float or fly out of your body, will yourself to be out of your body and just try imagine yourself flying up towards the ceiling and try feel how that would be and try imagine and feel yourself up by the ceiling. And BAM, suddenly you'll find yourself out of body before you know it. Sleep paralysis is a perfect state to astral project from as you are in the state you have to be in to astral project (Body asleep - Mind awake) So good luck and try it out some and let us know how it goes! Spiro Posted June 23, 2008 Author #11 Share Posted June 23, 2008 Okay i'm back, it's been 4 month now that I have posted this. I have read alot about astral projection and kept trying to accomplish it. About two month ago, I was sleeping on my back and was suddenly in sleep paralysis. I couldn't really think or do anything, so i focused on the ceiling and imagine myself floating towards it. I didn't feel like I was floating towards it though, but then i turned my eyes and saw myself floating higher than my body. Then I don't quite remember what happened but i re-opened my eyes and i was lying in my bed. I have kept on doing this for about a month until one day, some freinds came to sleep over. We were taking about random things until we came across astral projection. I said that I was kinda able to do it, but naturaly they didnt beleive me. I've read somewhere hat the best way to use astral projection is to see something you wouldn't be able to normally see with your eyes closed. So i asked my friends to wait until i fall asleep. Then, they would have to go hide something in the house and I would have to know where it is just as soon as I woke up. I would have to follow them in the astral state. So it went pretty well, except that they made a loud noise when they were trying to hide te object, so I kinda woke up completly, but i followed them far enough to know in what room it was. And my guess was right. I still think I can accomplish more with this, thought i'd drop by and give you some updates on what i've accomplished so far. Thanks for your time.
