You will hear a female – the family member – say, 'Hello, baby,' and another long conversation. Those are all human voices. But what sounds like a struggle or attack is going on as well. "The male [voice] you hear was not present at the hotel. You will hear a cuckoo clock (which was not present) a ticking of a hall clock (which was there); you will hear what sounds like the microphone being moved (which was not touched) and then the sound becomes clearer. "You will hear a creaking door and slamming of the door, which is real. Then you will hear a [unknown] woman say, 'Get off me,' and what sounds like the woman being attacked. The struggle continues for awhile, and during the EVP you can hear some of my investigators' conversations. After interviewing my investigators, they said they went and sat on the stairs of this hotel, because they heard from an above floor, what sounded like footsteps and conversations, not what you hear on this recording. When the noises stop, you hear the investigators participate in a lulled conversation. They stated that they started to talk when the noises stopped. Why would you be scared for days? Is it the distortion of the voices? That often happens, since many EVP's exist within the noise floor, and whenever someone attempts to clear it up, the voices become distorted, and sound electronic, metallic. Consider EVP's as an echo from the past, not something that is currently happening, might be easier to deal with im really curious to hear it, but i just dont have the guts lol...even reading the transcript gave me chills EVP's scare the hell out of me. A lot of people are usually 'afraid' of things like this, and get taken back by the sound of it, and the concept that the 'dead' or whatever the case may be, is actually finding a way to communicate with them. It makes it more real, and many people, despite having a desire to experience or learn about these these, are not willing to accept that as a possible reality. I have listened to a ton of audio. Yeah, over the years I've listened to a lot of audio. Very few EVP's give me a chill (but many threaten my hearing.) But I think it's many people's perception of such things. Many will associate a deeper inhuman voice to that of a 'demon', when in reality, it's simply a distortion from the mechanics (recorder) or that it was recorded in/beneath the sound floor, and the software that was used distorted the voice. The last time this specific EVP was brought up in U.M. people were associating the male voice in it as 'demonic.' I don't know. I guess because some are so clear it freaks me out. I had to turn it off. I just didn't like the torturous feeling I felt. I felt sorry for the woman and didn't want to think WHY she kept saying "get off me". Pretty weird, eh? I'm usually not a scaredy-cat BUT EVP's can truly scare the heck out of me! It was a female voice, and it says HELP ME, but there was some nasty gurgling sounds before and after and she had trouble saying it. I don't even listen to EVP much anymore. They are so common, and they just don't get me excited after all these years. I still run the recorders when I go hunting but I got several gigs stored up now that I haven't even listened to. I can get EVP in places that aren’t even known to be haunted…yawn. I will see if I can find a few of the good ones and upload them. Disembodied voices freak me out a lot more. I had one just a couple weeks ago it was the freakiest sounding moan I have ever heard. It was a male I believe, but it was hard to tell. It sounded like someone who was in HORRIBLE pain, and it was right in my ear.
