Mereana mordegard glesgorv

There is a video on Youtube named Mereana mordegard glesgorv. If you search this, you will find nothing. The few times you find something, all you will see is a 20 second video of a man staring intently at you, expressionless, then grinning for the last 2 seconds. The background is undefined. This is only part of the actual video.

The full video lasts 2 minutes, and was removed by Youtube after 153 people who viewed the video gouged out their eyes and mailed them to Youtube's main office in San Bruno. Said people had also committed suicide in various ways. It is not yet known how they managed to mail their eyes after gouging them out. And the cryptic inscription they carve on their forearms has not yet been deciphered.

Youtube will periodically put up the first 20 seconds of the video to quell suspicions, so that people will not go look for the real thing and upload it. The video itself was only viewed by one Youtube staff member, who started screaming after 45 seconds. This man is under constant sedatives and is apparently unable to recall what he saw. The other people who were in the same room as him while he viewed it and turned off the video for him say that all they could hear was a high pitched drilling sound. None of them dared look at the screen.

The person who uploaded the video was never found, the IP address being non-existant. And the man on the video has never been identified.

Should be under Urban Legends...

Right. Was wondering which forum it would fit better in, didn't notice it. Can a mod please move it?

Interesting story there Lizard, it reminds me of one of those chain letters that used to be passed around in Emails... LOL

Sadly the only way to prove or disprove this would be watching the full video and seeing if you do in fact kill yourself. Not a bad way to do research, after all, you'd get some pretty definite results, eh?

Oh yes, and this would be perfect for the Urban Legend forums.

I would like to know where you got this information, Lizardian-guy. The tone of the message suggests to me that you are on the staff of YouTube. :)

I have heard some similar things like this happening, but not from videos, i prefer not to name them due to safety concerns. I wonder why people would do something like that after seeing something. Somehow I'm tempted to watch it but i don't think it's a good idea.

Had a quick look but couldn't find anything news wise. Anyone find any new stories on it? I doubt they could have covered it up.

Also i'd be interesting if anyone came across an image of one of the cryptic messages that the people carve in their forearm.

Not that I wouldn't say this wasn't an interesting story(Hooray for the Ring lookalikes!), why would anyone search for a silly phrase/word/title "Mereana mordegard glesgorv"? It doesn't mean anything, does it? I'm a sceptic but knowing myself, I will likely search for it myself now.

Edit: Ok, searched, found. The man is pretty icky.

/\ Full version.

Annoying, creepy, but my eyes are still intact. I only watched about 10 seconds before I got annoyed, though.

He'a little Ricky Ricardo looking, wouldn't you say? OH LUCY! OH LUCY!

If you go to the youtube version, there are other versions there also and it actually shows the creepy dude with just a plain white background. Gotta love the internet!

You are supposed to now reach into your sockets with your thumbs and pop out your ocular orbs and now, lacking said eyes, somehow blindly address, affix postage and mail a small box (as an envelope would be messy) containing your peepers, to Youtube.

PRO TIP 1: Preaddress and pack box BEFORE removing eyes to minimize difficulty.

PRO TIP 2: If unsure of necessary postage, if possible, weigh eyes and box on kitchen or postal scale.

PRO TIP 3: Domestic US First Class postage of $2.25 should be sufficient to cover the shipping weight of most eyes up to 13 oz, but after that you'll need to ship USPS Priority Mail, 1 lb. should cover it.

Let the eye-gouging commence!
