cherrypine Posted May 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I have seen those picture of father pedro pia who is buried in a see thru coffin and his body is supposedly uncorruptible. If this is true why do they need to paint a mask on him.
Rosewin Posted May 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2008 Padre Pia rocked lol his name is just Padre Pio or Francesco Forgione. There is no Pedro though in Spanish Father is said as Padre (~_^) The whole stigmata thing creeps me out though but it is interesting. Though that is just one facet of this complex man and his experiences and for all he is remembered for.
Bogeyman Posted May 9, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I read about it last week, he was not uncorrupted but they said he was very well preserved......which is a different thing. They said he still had some facial hair left and he had not completely degraded , which he should have by now. But i think if they'd put him out as they'd found him they wouldn't be getting the visitors they are....he'd be like something out of a horror movie....hence the mask
