Frigid future for ocean in Saturn moon

user posted image rThe tide may be changing for the ocean suspected under the icy shell of Enceladus. Recent research has shown that this small moon of Saturn does not produce enough heat in its present configuration to keep water from freezing down to its core.

"There is no possible combination of parameters that allow for a thermally stable ocean," said James Roberts of the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Holy Moly! We better get people up there ASAP to stop that Climate Change Enceladus is experiencing. Everyone knows that nature stands still and nothing is supposed to change... ever. (sarcasm)

To bad for any Enceladimite creatures living there. I hope man can explore the ocean before it freezes solid.

I would have to think that the only creatures CAPABLE of living on Enceladus is a water-bear... They can withstand EVERYTHING, even the vacuum of space... but however, there might also be OTHER microscopic organisms that can survive as well.
