Arcanus. Posted July 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Have you ever tried Reverse Thinking? This is a method of thinking "what-if" the situation is reversed. Now think reversed. "Nothing in this world is free." Don't reverse the phrase, reverse the first word. "Everything in this world is free." What do you think would happen? Note: EVERYTHING. John from Lowell Posted July 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2008 I like that point of view. Everything is free if we choose to see it this way.

Celumnaz Posted July 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Have you ever tried Reverse Thinking? every time someone says, or I myself think "there should be a law", and every time I think about what punishment someone should get. really I think that way alot.... learned it by watching bias in the news, and reading history written by the "losers" Nothing is free, Everything has a cost... but it works when you think about give/take, if everyone takes vs. if everyone gives. All of the elements that keep us alive, the oxygen we breathe, the water we drink, and the ground we walk have all been provided to us at no cost. Arcanus. Posted July 18, 2008 Author #9 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I'd go get free vegetarian burgers from hungry jacks! Hey, HUNGER could never exist, since food is free. ECONOMY could never exist too, since money is unthinkable. Imagine this. You're getting hungry. You've made something for somebody and he/she doesn't have to pay for it because you don't need to be paid. You're extremely hungry. You take food from somebody else. He didn't resist, he simply took another food and ate it...
Rosewin Posted July 19, 2008 #10 Share Posted July 19, 2008 The glass is not half empty and it is not half full it is the cup which is twice as big as it needs to be. This is not forward or reverse thinking but balanced thinking.
