A car that controls your speeding habits

I don't think I would like this technology. It's a bit too controlling for me. However it's an interesting concept. What do you guys think. Would you want a car that will shutdown or slow you down if you're going over the speed limit?

It's a big big big no from me, maybe as a punishment for crap drivers they should have this but for decent drivers there's no need.

I like my fast cars, and I like them for that reason, I wouldn't want some computer making me slow down all the time. disgust.gif

I agree barman. I like my fast cars too.

I think it would be a good car for somone who's new to the driving scene. Hey maybe it can do the reverse to old drivers, and speed them up to the speed limit laugh.gif

Now THAT is a good idea, I like your thinking.

I've often thought slow drivers are just as bad as fast ones because they promote road rage.

There's nothing more frustrating than being stuck behind a dithering old **** wasting valuable seconds of your life, poodling along at half the speed limit.

It makes people get mad and always look for when they can overtake. A frustrated driver is a dangerous driver and that's when accidents happen.
