Here is my contributio for the competition. I have more stories, and all of them true.

By Terry D. Burgoyne (Lonecat)

A true account of an experience I had while in the Royal Air Force at R.A.F Yatesbury.

My parents were still living in Linden Close (where I had had my first ghostly experience and which I also have on file) and I was still stationed at R.A.F. Yatesbury, not far from Calne, the home of Harris’s bacon factory and very near Avebury, famous for its stone circles and, more recently, for the mysterious appearances of what have come to be known as “Crop Circles”.

WOW Lonecat, thats incredible, and surreal that it appeared to be a real person. Why did the military want to cover it up and keep it so hush hush, its a ghost not an enemy? Thanks that was great reading..JN :tu:

Okay .. This is a complete true story that my friend told me what happend to her friend..

This girl ( My mate ) thought it would be cool to get a load of people and try and do a weegie board well they were trying to make contact with her dead uncle but because they didn't have any professional people there to stop bad spirits going through well one did and told the girl "Your going to die on your 16th birthday" Everyone laughed and thought it was a joke at first until the glass that they were using started to spin round crazily and smashed against a wall well then everyone was ****ing bricks at that time. All the people that were there never talked about it. She started to have nightmares and waking up with a dark shadow over her. The girl when she told her parents of this her parents had no idea what to do so the rang a Priest and asked him to come round they asked him on the night before her 16th birthday to watch over her. I went round her house once and they were talking about it and the lights started to flicker and the table in front of them started to judder and there was a powercut. Her was the onyl house in the street that had a power cut. Could be a coincidence not sure. Well on the night of the girls 16th birthday she went to bed the Priest sprinkled holy water over her and kept chanting prayers at midnight the priest saw a dark shadow cross the room and go right through the girl. She was fine and lived.

Can i just say when they were in the room they were the only ones there. There was a lamp on and the Priest was sitting in a chair the curtains were drawed so there is no way that shadow could move..

Wow, freaky... Is the girl still alright?

The R.A.F. camp now no longer exists and where it once stood there are, at the time of writing, only open fields, the village of Avebury and nearby Silbury Hill with its famous White Horse cut into the chalk that underlies the wild grassland.

On the particular night of which I write, the weather was cold and still and there was a full moon which cast its light so brightly upon the camp that everything stood out in sharply contrasted light and shadow. We did our rounds two men at a time and as my mate and I awaited our turn we sat in the guard room smoking, talking and drinking large mugs of hot, strong tea from the tea urn. The air was stale and smokey and when it came to our turn to do the rounds we were glad to get out of the guard room and breathe some fresh air.

Mike and I (I’ll call him Mike as I don’t recall his real name now) set out in our battle dress uniforms with greatcoat, webbing belt and beret. We were armed with wooden truncheons, affectionately known as “chair-legs”. We had no other weapons: certainly no fire-arms. It was our job to patrol the perimeter of the compound and check for anything unusual, occasionally going amongst the aged aircraft. We chatted with each other and commented on life and people on the camp and off. I remember that it was so cold that I was glad of my trusty greatcoat and gloves.

As we were doing our two hour stint and admiring the cold, crisp night and the beautiful, if doleful full Moon. I remember that I was telling Mike something or other when suddenly he pointed over my shoulder to one of the aircraft standing behind me and said, in what was like a whispered shout, “Hey, look up there Tel! There’s somebody in that cockpit!” I turned and looked at the aircraft, I don’t remember if it was a Halifax or a Wellington but it was a World-War-Two Bomber.

The plane, which had only the stubs of its former wings, was standing on its undercarriage, clearly visible in the brilliant moonlight which shone from above and behind it. The plane was thus a sharply defined silhouette with a metallic sheen along the upper part of the fuselage and tail-plane. Mike had drawn my attention to the cockpit and when I looked up, there, plainly visibly against the moonlight was a human figure seated in the cockpit on the starboard side which I think may have been the navigator’s side and wearing what was obviously a flying helmet as I could see a prominent bulge on either side of the figure’s head where the headphones would be. Not only that but I could clearly see a cable leading down from the helmet.

The figure did not move but appeared to be that of a person either asleep or in reflective mood. I glanced at Mike and his face had a puzzled look. His mouth hung open in disbelief. He looked at his watch and then at me, his eyebrows raised quizzically. It was just after midnight so I looked up at the figure in the cockpit and shouted, “Hey you! What d’you think you’re doing? Come on out of there!” The figure did not stir and Mike and I looked at each other puzzled. Mike whispered to me, “What’s ‘e up to at this time o’night?”

“Search me”, I said. “Maybe he’s crazy about aeroplanes”.

“Crazy about summink”, Mike said “What are we gunna do?”

“Well we’d better do something”, I said “we’ll have to investigate. After all, we are on guard duty. Tell you what, you stay here and keep an eye on him and Ill go in and see what he is up to. He’s not supposed to be in that plane. That’s for sure”.

So that is what we did. Mike stayed where he was and I walked over to the bomber and found that the door in the bullet-riddled side of the fuselage was shut. However, the bomb hatch was open as the bomb doors themselves had been removed. I crouched under the belly of the plane and hauled myself up through the bomb hatch into the interior of the plane. Once inside I gripped my “chair leg” firmly with its strap around my left wrist and started forward, banging the stick against the metal air frame. The truncheon echoed loudly within the empty fuselage as I made my way towards the port side access to the flight deck.

“Hey you, whoever, you are! Come on! Out o’ there mate!” I shouted and banged my truncheon even harder against the bulkhead.

To me, who had never been inside a World War Two bomber before, the inside of the fuselage seemed remarkably frail and “tinny” and my boots clattered loudly on the deck. I reached the access “doorway” to the flight deck and hesitated. I pressed myself against the bulkhead and held the chair leg at the ready. Once again I shouted loudly, “if you don’t come out o’ there right now matey I’m coming in!” I banged the truncheon back and forth against the metal sides of the doorwary and then sprang in, ready for anything.

The flight deck was empty. There was no sign of anybody there at all. The pilot’s seat was empty and so was the navigator’s. As I remained there for a moment in a crouched position. I fancied I heard a roaring nosie like a distant.swarm of angry bees in my ears but this may have been due only to my surprise and consternation. I straightened up and looked about me and through the cabin’s canopy I saw Mike still standing on the concrete strip outside. A chill ran though me as I though how nobody could have got past me in this cramped space and anybody running along the deck of the fuselage would have made a hell of a racket and in case, nobody had or could have passed me through that narrow doorway without my noticing. I retraced my steps along the fuselage quite perturbed at what had happened. Mike and I had both seen the figure in the cockpit. In fact it was Mike who had seen the figure first and had drawn my attention to it. I just could not figure it out. I reached the bomb hatch and jumped down to the ground below. As I drew closer to Mike I could see that he was shaking all over.

“What’s up?” I asked him. His words came out shakily and his face looked even paler than before. It was almost white and this was not due to the moonlight. “What’s the matter?” I insisted. With an effort he pointed to the now empty cockpit and almost gasped, “That man! That figure! As soon as you climbed into that plane he…it….just vanished. One minute ‘e was there and then…..gone”.

I could hardly believe this. I had seen what I thought must have been a ghost before and had been frightened. This seemed similar but instead of being afraid I was more amazed and intrigued. This time I had a witness. No! I was the one to be the witness because Mike had seen it first. If he hadn’t pointed it out to me I would never have seen the thing. This made me feel somehow bolstered by the experience, even excited, happy!

I grasped Mike by his arm and said gently, “Listen Mike, Take it easy. Calm down. Don’t forget we’re on guard”. In a moment or two more Mike was visibly recovering.

“Cor Jesus” He said, “That really scared me!”

“I can see that”. I said with a smile “Have you never seen a ghost before?”

“Nah!” he said. “I never believed in ‘em before. But now….Cor! What a turn up for the book!”

We still had about another half hour to go before we finished our round of guard duty and we looked around the immediate area of the aircraft and, finding nothing more unusual and no sign of any other person around, we continued on our way.

As we walked on in the moonlight Mike said, “I suppose we better report this, right?” “Yep” I said, “Everyone has to make a report at the end of guard duty, even if there’s nothing to report.”

Well the time came for the changing of the guard and we duly reported back to the guardroom. The next two for guard duty were talking to the others as we went in and one of them looked up and said “How’d it go? Any I.R.A?” Mike, still with no colour in his cheeks, said “Nah, only a ghost.” Then he began to tell the others about our experience. Just then our duty Flight Sergeant came out of his office and apparently heard what we were talking about. “That’s enough of that!” he snapped. “You two”, he said, pointing to the two airmen who were next for duty, “Get a move on!”

The two went outside, peered back through one of the glass panes in the door and raised their eyebrows high while opening their eyes wide in a stage gesture of frightened reluctance to go.

The flight Sergeant gestured to me and Mike to come over and fill in the report form. I was given the form and I began to give a written account of everything that had happened during our round of guard duty. The flight Sergeant, who was reading what I wrote over my shoulder, tapped me on the arm and said “Yes all right. I think you’d better come into the office and finish that in there.”

Mike and I entered the office and when I had completed the report the flight Sergeant leaned heavily on the edge of the desk and regarded us for a moment with a very earnest expression. “Right,” he said at last, “sign that both of you and I have to tell you now that you must say nothing about all this to anybody on or off camp. That’s a Station Standing Order.” Mike and I looked at each other puzzled and then back at the Flight Sergeant who added, “The C.O. issued this order himself and he said that if anybody ever mentioned this business to anybody he’d have their guts for garters!” The only hint as to why such an order had been issued in the first place was given us by the Flight Sergeant himself as he added, “You see, you blokes are not the first ones to report seeing what you saw. Not by a long shot”

Wow, what a freaky experience! You remember it very well, and the way you wrote it sent chills down my spine! Did you hear any more about this figure? Or did you find out anything else?

No I don't. It was about 14 years ago when I moved from there. The weird thing is I almost forgot about this experience until yesterday. I guess something jogged my memory, but not this post...

Odd, well I'm glad something did jog your emmory so we could all hear your story! ^_^

OK, I feel compelled to share...

Background on that night first: My mom and stepdad were going to be helping some friends out with the catering of a wedding. This was before everyone had a cell phone, and they knew that they would not be able to call and check up on me at home, where I was babysitting my younger sister. So, they said my friend from across the street could stay over, and her mother agreed to check in with us once in a while, though their house phone for reasons I don't recall, was out of order at the time. At this time, I was 12 or 13 years old, my sister was about four, and my friend was roughly my age.

So, after eating dinner that Mom had left for us, the three of us, including the cat we had at the time, sat down to watch some TV. We were not rowdy, and I was out to do everything right because this was the first time I had been left to babysit my little sister for any longer than an hour or two. That's when we heard what sounded like a large book being thrown on the floor in my bedroom. I remember thinking that the dictionary I kept on my dresser must have fallen, but when I got up to check, not yet freaked out, everything was in its place. As I came back to the living room, we all distinctly heard the sound of my mother's closet opening and shutting...repeatedly, followed by the sound of someone throwing themselves on the bed in there. Remember, the cat was in the living room with us, so she wasn't up to any mischief. I swung Mom's bedroom door open, and her closet door was wide open, and there was the indentation of a human body on the bed. Before I go on, I need to mention that my mother is a bit OCD about tidiness, and she would have died before leaving the house with the closet door open or without the bed made to where you could bounce a quarter off of it.

By this time, we were all a bit freaked, but I did not want to scare my sister, so I put on the brave face and dismissed it as nothing. I had not been sitting down for five minutes when the stomping began. It was as though someone was running through every room in the house and if that wasn't bad enough, something began to pound on the windows. My friend suggested we go back to her house, but then that would have meant possibly facing whatever was pounding the windows, and at that point, I did not want to assume that it was some sort of poltergeist activity in case there was someone out there trying to scare us. Never mind that the running sound was coming from inside the house or anything. I didn't want to scare my sister.

But we were scared. Scared half to death. Determined to get to the bottom of it, I grabbed a knife, handed my friend a baseball bat, and my sister a rolling pin and the cat. We searched the house. The noises never stopped as we did this, and the stomping and pounding noises were joined by the sound of things falling, as though someone were wrecking every room in the house, even though nothing was out of place. I looked under the beds, in the bathrooms, anywhere a living being could hide, but there was nothing to see, only unexplained noises to hear.

At that point, I called my aunt who lived a mile away but was not home at the time. My best friend lived next door to her, so I called her, and she offered to have her dad drive over, but said she would feel better if I just called the police. I was reluctant to do this because a. I had an irrational fear that the cops would think we were neglected children and put us in foster care, b. With an overprotective Cuban mother, I was sure that a call to the police would result in my never babysitting again and being dragged everywhere with the parents, and c. My friend's mom would see the police cars from across the street and FREAK. In the end, though, I called the police. By the time they arrived, the noises had died down, and of course, C happened. However, the police searched the property, the three of us explained what happened to them and my friend's mother in a calm, rational manner that I am proud of to this day, and convinced that whatever happened wasn't going to continue, my friend's mom went home and the cops left, reassuring us that there weren't even footprints outside the windows. And there would have been, as it had been raining earlier in the day.

I swore my sister to secrecy on the matter fearing B, and we decided to lock ourselves in my room for the night, cat included. Until my parents came home, it sounded as though there was a party going on in the living room, despite the TV being off. We kept hearing people laughing and talking, but in that way where you hear the voices, but can't quite make out the words. The stomping around started up again, and the sounds of things falling to the floor came back periodically.

Thing is, we were in a quiet neighborhood. There were no parties going on anywhere around us, and there was no one in the house. When my parents got home, Mom poked her head in the bedroom to wish us good night, and that's when the noises just stopped.

In the end, my sister did tell Mom what happened, and despite my fears of how she would react, she was very cool about it. She actually thought it highly responsible of me to call the police, and she did not dismiss us as having overactive imaginations. Though the house we were living in had always had some degree of unexplained activity, it had never been so fierce as it was that night, and never would be again.

I'm sure it's not the freakiest story posted here, but to this day, my sister and I still puzzle over what happened that night, and I'm 34 and she just turned 27.

Wow, that must have been scary! It reminds me a little of something that happened to me when I was home alone, but it was only single incident and did not continue, and it was much, much less fierce!

when u said it was an old lady, i just remebered stories of how people are like visited by old hags in there sleep,

normally like shes sitting on there chest and they cant move and hardly breathe but the feel the same doom/despair feeling u had

I've heard of that, and I've heard a few peoples experience of someone or something sitting on them in the night, when tthere is nothing that could have sat on them but a paranormal entity.

I don't know Karzid. I was told by the people who cleansed my house (& blessed it) that it (snakes) were symbolic for a demonic attack. I think they were there to somehow break me down even more than I was already, I'm really not even sure.. sort of to take what ever security I had and just throw it out the window, so to speak. It was hell (pun intended). and I thank God everyday that it's in the past.

Yea, you're talking about the "old hag" and sleep paralysis.

I wished SP was all it was.. I could move, I could talk.. I wasn't paralyzed at all.

As matter of fact, I was crawling backward into my headboard till I couldn't move any further back..and I was praying out loud..

I reckon the snakes were there to scare you, and to break you down even more like you said. SP can explain a lot, but in your experience you were definitely not paralyzed. I wonder what that ghost was there for...

I don't know why the military wanted it covered up, maybe because they didn't want others to panic, or maybe they didn't want ghost hunters flocking in. There could be many reasons, but it's still very strange...

My story isn't much competition to some of these (after I post mine I'll definitely have to go through and comment on some!), but I've told it a few times on here already--I just love telling it. I posted it a long time ago, a few years ago, to get the opinions of people and the best explanation for it was a grocery bag in the field, but it didn't explain what happened in the house.

Several years ago, possibly in 2002 (twelve at the time), I was staying the night with my dad and brother (nine). John, my brother, had invited our cousin Coba (eight) to come over, mostly because it can get very boring without any company in the rural country.

That night, around ten, the lot of us were in the garage. I was upstairs watching TV, and the boys were downstairs playing pool. I was getting tired, so I decided to go out to the house and get ready for bed. I said bye, night, and what have you, and headed down the drive way. It's hardly a long walk at all, if you sprinted you could make it to the front door in a few seconds. The driveway faces the field, where we've kept my horse, so I wasn't looking in the direction at random. As I neared the house (and the field), I happened to look over the knoll, where I saw what looked like a woman. She was gray in appearance, what you would consider old flesh to look like, with what appeared to be transparent holes throughout her body. She was physically whole, she was not transparent, but there were parts of her that were black, that looked like they had either fallen off of her or were just not there to begin with. What I assumed were her eyes were also black, and her hair was extremely matted and tangled, it fell around her face and framed it. I imagine it would have been shoulder length, if I had seen the rest of her body.

I didn't feel scared, a little surprised, sure that it was my eyes playing tricks on me, so just looked away and shrugged. As I continued through the front door of the house (into what we called the "pink room") I looked through the kitchen door to see the exact same figure looking up at me--only this time, it was from the floor. I saw the head of the woman looking up from the laundryroom floor, and that's when I got scared. I booked it back to the garage, I swear half crying, and told my dad that I saw something in the house. He grabbed his gun (like any good Kentuckian would do) and came out to the house. He looked around inside, confirmed there was nothing there, and though I was scared shtless, I stayed inside the house anyway. I did, though, turn on every light and then go to sleep without changing.

Ever since then I never felt comfortable in the house, and it wasn't long (a few months at best) after that that the house burned down. Investigators found the area that it was started in, but never determined what it was that started it.

This is one my accounts.. I'd recently shared on another part of the forum..

I had just gotten home from work one night, was lying in my bed. I had just sat down and laid back when I saw these huge bat like shadows on the ceiling. Some were bigger than others, maybe five in total. Then this sudden feeling of Doom suddenly came over me. A feeling that there is NOT a term we have to describe. A fear, doom, despair, grief, every bad negative emotion we have rolled up in one, and that doesn't' even come close to getting it across- the extent of it...

(I don't like quoting massive posts, but this applies to the whole of your story).

To make it clear, I think that because of the trauma and mental stress that was put on you in this time... you deserve some sort of placement, and imo, that HAS to be first. I mean, wow. Just wow. I have never heard of a real-life event, any sort of supernatural story at all, that could possibly be compared to that. I've read my fair share of scary stories, but this one is just impressive. I'm sorry that you went through all of this, but it is undoubtedly a story for the records. You had so much going on, it's just amazing. How long did it go on for? (Sorry if you answered that anywhere, I'm known to look over obvious things.)

But I think the only thing I can say is, just... wow. The image you gave of that was horrific. I did at first think SP, as I go through SP like candy, but it wasn't typical of SP at all. Did you take any pictures of anything when it was happening? The snakes, the hallway, anything? (though I'll admit, taking pictures of these things wouldn't exactly be top priority to me either.)

Thanks Ebony, that sounds really scary, especially when you got into the house. That would have left me sleep deprived for months LOL..Wonder who the lady was? JN :unsure2:

I definitely couldn't sleep in that house anymore. It wasn't long after that that I just started staying with my mom 24/7, mostly because I just hated not feeling safe in dad's house anymore. Before their divorce, it felt comfortable, even though every single person that has ever lived in the house has reported some type of activity (missing objects, moving objects, apparitions, phantom smells, you name it). Pictures of the home, despite it's dilapidated state, taken before the divorce were peaceful. I have pictures from before, and after, and I will admit that there is just something about the after photos that are not friendly. Just looking at them, I get chills. But I was looking at a few today, from before, and they were just as happy and bright as possible. I have one that I posted with my first topic of this experience, where the house just looks so gloomy, shadowed by something, despite it being a sunny day. It's a horrible feeling.

As for the woman? I don't know. I speculate sometimes that it was the "gray lady" my family was supposed to see at some point in their life. Everyone in my family was supposed to see a ghost woman in a white dress with blonde curly hair at some point during their life--only once. I have a feeling that, whoever that woman was, it was her--driven mad or upset by my parent's separation.

Edit:

Wow, I wonder if that spirit had anything to do with the unexplained fire...

I've often thought so. The fire originated in the area where my great aunt died, and I always thought it was her in some way that did it. The house was old, but there was nothing plugged into that side of the wall. There was just a couch and a brand new counter top we were waiting to put in the garage. All of the electrical stuff was on the other side of the room, basically 99% of all the cords in the house--where you would expect the fire to start. I think the only wires in that wall would have been connected to the porch light, that we never ever used. But the firefighters never determined whether it was electrical, arson, or what. They just found out where it started, not what started it.

I have no scaryscary ghost experiences D: I fail.

But I do have some semi-experiences!

Okay, the first one is lame... I was sitting at the computer, and to the right of me is this hallway. If the light in this room and the next is out, there's NO light at all in the hallway. None.

So my cat comes through this room, and suddenly stops as she passes into the next room, straddling the threshold with her forepaws on the wood and her back paws on the carpet. She just stands stock still and starts bristling, like there's something there. I think she saw a ghost, but it didn't freak me out or anything.

And the other one was kinda creepy. I was watching a crime drama on DVR, and suddenly this face appears in the screen. Not on it, but like you're pressing your face into a sheet or plastic wrap, where the person on the other side can see the basic features of your face, like eyes, nose, mouth etc. It wasn't part of the show, and my mom and I both saw it. I skipped back to make sure it wasn't there again, and nope! Only that one time. It's never happened again, but it sure was creepy x3 It was of a woman screaming... Another time, I was lying in my bed and I thought I saw a grizzled old man's face in the darkness, tiny, like near the ground...

But those are lame ;D

I know they arent really related to ghost stories, but let me writ it anyway.Back in 1996 in Chicago, while watching night sky at about 10pm on my porch,i saw glowing red fireball type ufo for about 1 min,i ask my father to come, and we both watch it.Second after reding posts about telekinesis,i decided to trt it on my own with bottle cap. After 3-4 minuties i was able to move, using my whole energy.

Also there were a lot of times, where street lamps turned off itself, when i drove next to it.

Awesome experiences, I've heard someones experience with that blonde boy, it might have been yours. ^_^ The door slamming was definitely odd...

I think it was me, because I have told both these stories on here before.

Edit:

I've often thought so. The fire originated in the area where my great aunt died, and I always thought it was her in some way that did it. The house was old, but there was nothing plugged into that side of the wall. There was just a couch and a brand new counter top we were waiting to put in the garage. All of the electrical stuff was on the other side of the room, basically 99% of all the cords in the house--where you would expect the fire to start. I think the only wires in that wall would have been connected to the porch light, that we never ever used. But the firefighters never determined whether it was electrical, arson, or what. They just found out where it started, not what started it.

Wow, you're experience just keeps getting weirder. There doesn't seem to be any way that fire started, but it did. And it being in the room where your great aunt died is creepy. I have no idea why your great aunt would want the house burnt down though. Also, this gray lady you speak of, do all your family see it?

Those aren't lame, they're pretty cool. I've had only small experiences too, though one lasted a whole night and into the next morning.

Weird, not really ghost experiences, but still weird. ^_^ The streetlight thing is supposed to be normal, but I dunno...

Thanks Watchful. The one of the boy with the cap I will remember forever. That was so real as the boy was, I find it amazing that you actually got to see him. Bet you are happier now that you are out of that house? JN :tu:

I vividly remember the night the second exorcism of my home was performed. It was the most bizarre, intense, emotional and frightening experience of my entire life, including the haunting itself. Once the house was finally blessed and was I, we all had to leave at the same exact tme, closing up my home to let the blessing rid my home of the evil that had lingered for so long. I walked out with the Demonologist and his team. It began to thunder and lightening VERY hard. I dont mind storms, but I have a deep respect and fear of lightening. It was pouring rain, the lightening was striking the ground around us, yet for some reason I felt safe. We all hugged, laughed and cried, it was extremely emotional. The team wanted to follow me to the Hotel to make sure I was okay, but I reassured them I was, plus I had to stop at the store, as I had fasted and was starving, and wanted a coffee. The storm became more intense as I pulled out of my driveway, and even with the team behind me, something didnt feel right, and I didnt feel quite right either. The rain was coming down so hard my wipers could not keep up with it, and the lightening seemed to be coming into my SUV and all around me. It seemed to take me hours to get to the nearest 7/11, but it only took 10 mins or less. I jumped out and ran in the store. I sort of stood there watching people wondering how they could feel so normal and I didnt. Everyone was joking with one another and I was shaking like a leaf, plus wet and cold. I waited inside for the storm to let up and took forever as I stood in the door, horrified. I finally decided to make a run for it, so went to my truck jumped in, and started it up. I drank some coffee and looked to back up, and the lightening started again, only brighter, quicker and closer, and the thunder was deafening. I had to get to that hotel alive, is what I remember thinking. As I drove up the hill I turned on my radio but I could hear something in the back seat breathing, and sighing, right behind my head. My foot was shaking so hard, I couldnt keep the accellerator going at the same speed, and there were flash floods, and my brakes were wet. I finally saw the sign to the Hotel, as people passed me driving SO fast, I was in the slow lane, just trying to steer and get to that hotel. I finally made it into the parking lot, and how I dont even know. I shut off the truck, put the seat back and gave a massive sigh of relief. Next thing the dome lights went on, which cannot happen when the truck is off. Then all the lights on the dashboard lit up, incuding check engine, oil, gas etc..All the lights began to flicker so fast, I felt like someone smashed the back of my head with a sledge hammer. The feeling was heavy, depressing, and a strong feeling of doom and death. The lights continued to flicker constantly, and I couldnt open the door to get out. My heart raced, I was stuck in my SUV and it was in park and shut off. I remembered a prayer I was taught and I screamed it out loud..Next thing, lights stopped, lightening stopped, as did the rain. It felt so different and so did I. Beaten, battered and scared to death, I made it inside and into my room. I went to wash up and noticed where I was blessed on my forehead, the cross was burned into my skin and actually hurt. I knew then what had haunted me and my house, and I knew it was gone and it was finally over. That was the end..JN

Wow, I'm really glad that's all over JN. You must have been really scared! I know I would've been. How long did the cross burn stay on your head?
