How YOU are affected by "UFO disease"

SkepticalEd

Recommended Posts

Those that do not employ a critical mind which requires evidence to support claims are vulnerable to "UFO disease."

You can see the results of this disease in some astronauts, popular authors, "witnesses (particuluarly Roswell "witnesses"). I'm sure you can expand on this list.

As John Lear explains it, and as a self-avowed victim:

"And UFO disease is something that we get... we are just so in demand as speakers and we’ve already told whatever we know, so now we got to make up a little more to keep the interest. Being in demand like that is, it’s addictive, so you make up a little more and that’s called UFO disease and that’s what happened to Bill. He started making stuff up."

Do you mean Bill Clinton???

Those in power speak from a collective of many in Goverment, and i believe its a matter of being convincing enough to stop mass hysteria.

UFO disease being another way to explain..."Im going to throw this out there in the hope that they will belive without evidence.

Bush doesnt really know what hes taking about so we can definantly rule him out.

Do you have a link SE??

Use your browser's Find feature to locate "UFO disease" or read the whole crazy interview!

And, speaking of Bill Clinton. When it comes to him and his wife, all I can say is where is Lee Harvey Oswald! Ditto for Bush and about 99% of our elected officials.

You don't use a critical mind! you are a de-bunker, so stop trying to be all scientific! There is a huge difference in a skeptic, and people like you.

You can see the results of this disease in some astronauts, popular authors, "witnesses (particuluarly Roswell "witnesses"). I'm sure you can expand on this list.

This is what you don't understand, and probley never will. There are people out there, like with everything else, that hoax, make up things, and sell there books, stories for money. Its not just in ufo's, its everything. Its the way the world is at the moment. But, like i said before, and you seem to ignore, there is a skeptic disease too, called de-bunking!

As John Lear explains it, and as a self-avowed victim:

Well, there is alot of crap in this subject, but there are alot of good things too. The thing is, ufo's are real, there is so much evidence that something strange is flying in our air space, what they are, we don't know. We know that ufo's are taken seriously by many governments all over the world. Even when i lived in China, i looked into many interesting cases there. There is alot of crap out tere, but if you know the subject well, you will know the positives on this subject.

Me too I am skeptical of Aliens coming to this planet, but I do believe that Alien life must exist out in the universe and that we are not alone.

Because some of this post was nothing to do with the subject so removed it.

UFO disease?…..No.

There is evidence.

A few links to the Rex Heflin UFO case. The originals showed up back in 1994.

There is a lot to read but worth it.

Note ground disturbance underneath the UFO. Refer to fig. 11 in the Druffel/Wood/Kelson article. This detail was not mention in the analysis.

Then there is the SRS (Self Referencing Stereo) Polaroid Gulf Breeze photos. There were two cameras involved….The one Ed Walters made and a separate sealed MUFON camera.

These cameras used trigonometric parallax to determine size and distance…..Impossible to fool this type of camera.

The Hudson Valley UFO. Five thousand or more witness a V shape or Boomerang UFO in New York.

These sightings took place between 1982 - 1987.

http://www.ufoevidence.org/topics/HudsonValley.htm

There is more UFO evidence out there.

Nailed it :)

It's healthy to be sceptic, it's healthy to be open minded.

Being extreme either way is not.

What about the ignorance disease? A number of posters in this thread seem to be suffering from it.

Reanalysis of the 1965 Heflin UFO Photos

http://www.scientificexploration.org/jse/a...wood_kelson.pdf

Because I have free vision and a copy of Ed Walters hardcover book I was able to view the stereo photographs included in the book and endorsed them many years ago.

I've already quoted an extensive article link in another thread showing that the Hudson Valley sightings were a hoax perpetrated by a group of light aircraft pilots.

I am not sure about that Ed......Way too simple of an explanation....Especially when these sightings were witnessed by 5,000 people (At least!)....covering a time span at least 5 years...

Yes, There were ultra-lights and/or small aircraft flying in formation....A diversion.......Quickly indentified by most witnesses....

Maybe someone should talk to the guards of this Nuclear power plant....

google search terms: hudson valley ufo sighting hoax

Results 1 - 100 of about 5,560 English pages for hudson valley ufo sighting hoax

I accept the case as a hoax. However, that doesn't mean that there weren't one or two or a few individual sightings, even a couple of lights. But NOT a formation of slow UFOs, sometimes going in and out of formation. I've seen the video (Rare 1984 Hudson Valley UFO video - Some extremley rare ufo footage from the Hudson Valley near the Indian Point Nuclear Reactor - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn8OeluEV30). Similar to the alleged triangle that was seen prior to the Phoenix flares which also was a loose triangular formation of military aircraft which is my conclusion after viewing the grainy video numerous times.

You're just like a Youtube expert aren't ya Ed? Believe it or not some of us can actually arrive at conclusions through the use of logic. Simple logic. It's just like doing a puzzle and shaping the pieces as you go but somehow still ending up with a fairly accurate picture. It's just a question of probabilities.

Logic? Did you say logic? Did you lose it here, I don't see it.

I believe that the majority of people can be persuaded to believe anything. Honestly, there are a few good people left in this world who are level headed and straight minded. To much influence and not enough evaluation.
