Looking for a Book

Hey guys, I want to get a book that was mentioned on this forum a long while back but I can't remember what it's called! It was about a guy who supposedly traveled to another dimension. I think it was called "Proofs of my return" or something, but I'm not sure, and I can't remember the author. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Found this from here

A couple of months back, I read an interesting story about a gentleman named John Palifox who traveled back & forth from other dimensions. In his book titled "Proofs of My Return", he gave a detailed description of intersecting leylines throughout the United States used to get to parallel univereses, alternate realities, or planes. One of the most notorious dimensional plane exist in Montmorency County, Michigan.

In his book, he discussed dozens of latitude & longitudes throughout the U.S. that permit time travel. However, his book is extremely hard to find. I have checked several antiquarian libraries but I have not found John Palifox's Manuscript. Has anyone heard of his written account? Does anyone on this site own his manuscript?

Kind of seems like you're s.o.l. I tried Amazon and wiki with both book and author name. No go.

Ok well actually I found this so far....but it doesn't help. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_do_you_thin...ohn_Palifox_Key

But atleast someone else has heard of it.

Oh wait....it might be a hoax. http://ranprieur.com/misc/palifox.html (I've been writing this reply while looking for the past 10 minutes....sorry it's very stream of conciousnessy).

try searching for "proofs of my return" on this forum and you'll find a HUGE thread about it.

conclusion: the book doesn't exist.

The thread itself is a very interesting study of the human psyche though :P

in fact, here it is:
