Belle. Posted October 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 10, 2008 My mother worked with someone whose flatmate died unexpectedly whilst he was out of town and his pet pooch nibbled on the body. He managed to find a new home for the dog as he understandably didn't want to keep it - but I don't know if he told the new owners.

To tell you the truth Belle, I don't know if I would want to know something like that. Just by the thought of it, probably more no than yes... TruthIs Posted October 10, 2008 #9 Share Posted October 10, 2008 ..But your fox urine soaked body.. Only on UM does one see the sentence "But your fox urine soaked body.." All kidding aside, I feel badly for her. Even if it was only her body. But I suppose the cats weren't doing it to be horrible or anything : /
Corvis Posted October 10, 2008 #10 Share Posted October 10, 2008 Ugh, that's sooooo creepy. I bet the EMT or whoever finally found her was seriously disturbed. What's the word for a phobia of cats? I second that initial "Urrggghhh"...
Funky Poacher Posted October 10, 2008 #11 Share Posted October 10, 2008 Good for the cats! It's unfortunate that the woman died, but you can't blame the animals. They were probably starving. At least we know cats will survive in the future when humans have wiped themselves out
~Onyx~ Posted October 10, 2008 #12 Share Posted October 10, 2008 If this doesn't prove that cats are evil, then nothing will, IMO.
ravergirl Posted October 10, 2008 #13 Share Posted October 10, 2008 this is not as bad as I thought. When I first read the head line I thought it read "Woman is eaten by her dead cats" which as you can imagine would have been very bizarre.
Helen of Annoy Posted October 10, 2008 #14 Share Posted October 10, 2008 It's a sad story, but there’s nothing “evil” in it. Cats were hungry, woman was dead – what to expect? There were cases of people eating human corpses when faced with starvation. It’s yucky and shocking and whatnot but it’s the survival.
