Yeah, something about chromatophores and stress levels. But for some reason I was so sure it was also for camouflage. But you're right.

what are you talking about? chameleons changed color to match their moods [among other things, which you clearly agreed with in the first one. so why wouldnt you agree with the seond one? especially since you thought they changed color fo camoflauge, i suggest YOU pick up a book sometime. :P

I just thought of a thread were members could post the intrestings facts that they know

I will start with the first one

1-A single drop of water molecule is made up of 1700009000000000 molecules

2-The island of Manhattan was sold by the Red indians to Dutch settlers for a sum of US $ 24

3-A philatelist from paris named Gaston Leroux murdered a man called Hector Giroux for a stamp worth 2 cents

In every Japanese village they have a shrine dedicated to "dead" sewing needles called Hari Kuyo.

lol its Hari Kuyo. Hari Kari is ritual suicide, Hari Kuyo is the laying to rest of well used needles on a bed of tofu.

neat fact tho, its really funny you should post this, I just go an email a couple of days ago from a friend that had this in her list of odd facts.

then this could mean that a £300 laptop will be able to succede all current gaming laptops :o i can imagine the games that people will play, the graphics, the non lag :D

Very funny, but in Britain American Indians are called red indians, I guess so you can tell them from the East Indians, which they just call Indians. Weird, huh? Another strange fact I guess.
