heavensblade23 Posted November 7, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2008 Not being able to substantiate criminal charges does not mean it's not a forgery.
The Old Medic Posted January 6, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 6, 2009 The box is gererally believed to be a forgery. The problem is, they can't prove WHO made it, which makes it difficult to convict anyone of being the actual forger. And the story of his being sold that box by an Arab Antiquities dealer is also unproveable. he can not identify who that dealer was, which means he bought it illegally. And it is NOT, and never was claimed to be,. a "Jesus Box". It was claimed to be the burial box for the bones of Jesus brother, not of Jesus.
