MasterPo Posted November 7, 2008 #104 Share Posted November 7, 2008 She isn't afraid of witches. She doesn't believe dinosaurs lived with humans. She knows what NAFTA is. Does this mean you're back on your meds? Those are briliant things? Talk about dumbing down people... I thought you might say she invented something, proved a scientific theory, made a major discovery, turned $1,000 into $1,000,000 in a year trading cattle futures with no experience.... MissMelsWell Posted November 7, 2008 #107 Share Posted November 7, 2008 (edited) She isn't afraid of witches. She doesn't believe dinosaurs lived with humans. She knows what NAFTA is. Can we add that Hillary also doesn't believe Christ is coming to take her home in her lifetime? Let's also add her good record in NY. And her packaging all together... she's older, wiser, sophisticated and a woman that KNOWS Washington DC and politics... after all, she lived it for 8 years with her husband, and again in the senate. She also managed to raise a fine young daughter amid it all. I'm no fan of Hilary and her platform, but had she won democratic nomination, I'd have voted for her. I'm actually begning to wonder if Democrat Patty Murray from Washington might run in 8 years. Just a guess, but I think it's possible. She's got to be close to being one of the Sr. Senators by now. She could be a very viable first woman president. Palin, not so much. Edited November 7, 2008 by MissMelsWell
MasterPo Posted November 7, 2008 #108 Share Posted November 7, 2008 She also managed to raise a fine young daughter amid it all. I read during the primaries Hilary ws concerned that the media may try to attack Chelsea. So she asked Chelsea if there was anything she should tell her about. Nothing special. Then Hilary said they might look into her dating life and asked if she'd had sex yet. Chelsea thoight for a moment and replied "Not according to daddy." I'll speak for myself: Yea right, and o'really is an independent Fox will move from the right to the center a little to get the news stories in these times of Democrat controlled congress and oval office. HollyDolly Posted November 7, 2008 #117 Share Posted November 7, 2008 If your upset about the state our country, and how in blue blazes an african-american got elected President, thank George. As far as fear goes, remember the little boy that cried wolf? Inducing and inciting fear doesnt work anymore. Your more than welcome to live in fear, say what you want whatever, that is your choice, I however refuse. Palin was not John's first VP choice, Joe Liebermann was but his campaign manager nixed it. He chose Palin out of frustration which ulimately led to his defeat. Yeah I understand Liebermann was McCain's first choice as VP, but there were other people he could have picked for the VP positio n.Also, don't know if it's true that Palin didn't know Africa was a continet or not, but it is important. A VP needs to have knowledge of the various countries around the world, and America's relations with those countries.

Oh no, the fun is just starting. Bring on the trickle up economic policies, bring on the liberal foreign policies, bring on the liberal education policies, bring on the the liberal socialist programs. I'm eager to see how it will work this time just because it is Obama. Change!!!!!

MID Posted November 7, 2008 #120 Share Posted November 7, 2008 She's being blackballed by republicans because she's a major league ditz who had a fair amount to do with their crushing defeat. I can see critical thought is not your strong suit. She has never been sucessfully attacked by either party. Not during the campaign, and certainly not now. The reason she was attacked during the campaign, and now, by certain un-named McCain operatives, is clear. She's a threat, because she's the only true conservative that ran. She's obviously a threat the the far left, and she's a threat to republicans who've lost their way, and who drift across the aisle far too much and neglect the principals that made them strong. The defeat was the result of republicans who have not stuck to their principals. She happened to be one of those who did and that's a problem...for both parties apparently. She garnered more attention on the campaign than McCain did, and there's a reason for that. Yea...she's a ditz...a ditz who handled Biden soundly. Yea...she's a ditz, and Biden is Einstein, I suppose? Oh boy...
MID Posted November 7, 2008 #121 Share Posted November 7, 2008 Yeah I understand Liebermann was McCain's first choice as VP, but there were other people he could have picked for the VP positio n. That was one of McCain's early problems...the potential to pick Lieberman. Also, don't know if it's true that Palin didn't know Africa was a continet or not, but it is important. A VP needs to have knowledge of the various countries around the world, and America's relations with those countries. Um...no, it's not true. Not one thing said about Palin, by democrats, or republicans of recent date is true. The fact is, she's a threat to both parties right now. Mr Honeybadger Posted November 7, 2008 #124 Share Posted November 7, 2008 all in due time.. hopefully it wont be to late and america will be saved. not likely though. its not gnna be pretty for the states. My hope is that a grass-roots conservative movement starts to rise. But one that believes in the Ron Paul / Libertarian view of civil liberties and keeping religion out of government. But if the Republican party re-invents itself with those same old philosophies, then I will continue to have no part of it.

He should be impeached the moment he gets in office. Stock Market not happy with the future, Obama. He bought the White House with foreigna nd unknow donations to his campaign. We need investigations and subpoenas.
