Those little rockets as you call them still kill people.

So does a rock. Would you bomb and invade to the extent Israel has for that?

How many have to be sacrificed?

How the hell does Israel plan on defining who is Hamas and who is a civilian?

If you are wearing black does that mean Israeli soldiers are allowed to kill you?

Generally if they're holding weapons and shooting at you... THEN the Israeli soldiers are allowed to kill them.

So does a rock. Would you bomb and invade to the extent Israel has for that?

If you were being chased by a puppy, would you want a gun to protect yourself?

Now what if you were being chased by a bear?

I have come to the conclusion that the anti-Israelis in this thread are either joking or severely ******ed.

{MasterPo is lookin for the waves of Jewish suicide bombers but can't find any...)

With such a well equiped army why would Israel need to resort to such tactics? Tactics such as the insanity of suicide bombers are utilized by a desperate people against a military force of much greater quality. This I would think would be an obvious, and understood consequence of gorilla warfare. The inability to do damage to the superior military forces the lesser military body to utilize terror tactics, such as suicide bombings, torcher, and kidnapping. Any casual student of history would know this. Also, the reverse is also true. The infastructure damage, and civilian loss's by the lesser military bodies people is always extensive. The question is, can a modern military contain and subdue a gorilla army without political resolve? It has not happened before, perhaps this would be the first. However, that seems highly unlikely.

Israel is not a country, nor a recognized State.

It was a huge mistake.

This is a fallacy. To deny such a reality is not sane, due to its complete disconnect with reality. Israel must be recognised as a country if this is ever to resolve itself. Then perhaps some disputed areas of settlement could be negotiated with and appropriated by each side accordingly. Neither side would get all it wants, but surely there can be a middle ground that each could be unhappily satisfied with. Either that or this sort of thing will just repeat itself over and over, both the suicide bombings/rocket attacks, and Israel's military campaigns.

There is no palestinian nation, and there is no total war.

This belief too is a complete disconnect with reality. This is a total war, and has been for years. And surely , if Israel can be seen as a nation, so too can Palestine. Ironic how both sides propaganda sound just like the other. Which is of course, a perfectly normal tactic of warfare: to blame the other party for all the problems at hand and how they must be punished for thier transgresions. Historically such perceptions are necessary for the justification of a people to take resources of another, or to defend their resources from another. This war, which has been waged for many years, is certainly a classical example. Both sides are fighting over land-resources.

Yes, that is true. Some muslims ( arabs and european ) colaborated with Hitler. So did Italy, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia ( by the way did you know that the first Jew-free City in Europe during WWII was Belgrade? Those Jews run to Albanian and Bosnian muslims seekeng refuge although some of those muslims later colaborated with Hitler too but Jews were still much safer in those countries among muslims then elswhere??).... while other countries like USA and England watched??

So because of a group, again, we justifie a total war against a nation??

White men and their justice system. Witchunt is still alive.

England watched??

The first Jewish refugees from Germany arrived in Britain from March 1933 onwards. they took in 71,000 before the start of WW2

As Dick would say, "So what?".

You guys are sick comparing Hamas little rockets to the military might of Israel, generously financed by the US.

'Hamas little rockets' ? Are you having a laugh ? The only reason they don't wipe houses out is because they are built out of triple-reinforced concrete, but they still make a mess. I would love to see your face when the siren went off. Is it comfy on you armchair ?

So does a rock. Would you bomb and invade to the extent Israel has for that?

Hundreds of thousands off people running to bomb shelters day in day out for 8 years, yeh thats the same as 'throwing a rock'. Give your head a shake something has come loose.

Egypt and Jordan came to their senses and accepted Israel. There's nothing stopping all the other countries from doing so too.

Give it time. I'm sure Saudi Arabia, Iran (and all the other countries) will finally accept Israel...even if that meant more wars.

As I've pointed out before, it this were a total war, there would be no palestinians. You just like the sound of the phrase, without having a clue as to it's meaning.

As for the palestinians being a nation, are you refering to the West Bank faction, run by the PLO, the most corrupt group of former terrorists in history the PA, or the Gaza faction, run by a group of current terrorists?

Check your sources. Who supported Hitler the most?

Those numbers you mention were fabricated after WWII.

The European Commission, the executive arm of the European Union, on Sunday pledged an additional $4.2 million of emergency aid for Gaza and called on Israel to respect international law.

"Blocking access to people who are suffering and dying is also a breach of humanitarian law," Louis Michel, EU's humanitarian aid commissioner, said in a statement.

"I call on the Israeli authorities to respect their international obligations and ensure a 'humanitarian space' for the delivery of vital relief," he said.

Exactly. Means that England and France and America supported Hitler up untill when their own interests were in jeopardy. Noone cared about Jews.

America had took in Jewish people, England did too. and Poland and everyother country that was around Germany. Hitler didn't want Jews in his country, so he got his SS men to get them out of Germany. But some didn't want to leave, so Himmler (the commander of the SS) had came up with a plan. Kill every other Jewish person that didn't want to leave Germany. And then came the 'Final Solution' of concentration camps. I would think this is the reason of why Iseral became a country in the first place.

Someone should tell the Egyptians.

The majority of Egyptians do support the Palestinian cause but they fear their government.

Same with the majority of Saudi Arabian citizens- they fear their own government ....

.. 15 of 19 hijackers on 911 were from Saudi Arabia

And the reason, they claim for the attacks, was because of American foreign policy AND American financial support for Israel's treatment of Palestinian people.

*************************************************

Egypt is facing sharp condemnation from elsewhere in the Arab world, and there is even criticism here, where people are normally very careful about what they say publicly about their president: Egypt, they say, must do more while Gaza is under such heavy attack from Israeli warplanes.

“Egypt is helping the wounded and sending supplies for the people,” said Hishmat Abu Bakr, 63, who fought in the Arab-Israeli wars of 1967 and 1973. “But we’d prefer bigger help. We’d like to break the border and go die there with our brothers.”

Harsher criticism of Mr. Mubarak was rare on Tuesday in northern Egypt, where the landscape and the architecture are nearly identical to that of Gaza, and where the economy is linked to smuggling food, supplies, arms and explosives there.

Near the border — closed to visitors, including journalists, both ways — there is a heavy presence of police, military and secret police, the Mukhabarat, and numerous checkpoints along the roads on the way to the split border town of Rafah, which has been declared a military zone.

The Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, and his ally, the Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon, have called on Egypt to open the border and the Egyptian people to break down the barriers. But Egyptian forces have clashed with Palestinians trying to leave Gaza, and Mr. Mubarak has said firmly that the border will remain closed.

Egypt would reopen the Rafah crossing only when the Palestinian faction Hamas reconciled with the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah, and allowed him to reassert his authority over all Palestinian territory, including Gaza, Mr. Mubarak said Tuesday in a nationally televised speech.

Mr. Mubarak condemned Israel’s “savage aggression.” But in a riposte to Arab critics who live at a distance, Mr. Mubarak said, “We say to those who are trying to make political capital out of the plight of the Palestinian people that Palestinian blood has a price.”

Mr. Bakr, the 63-year-old war veteran, refused to believe it when told of Mr. Mubarak’s speech. “Mubarak could not say something so wrong,” Mr. Bakr said. “The Palestinians are his brothers.” http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/31/world/mi...?ref=middleeast

Why are all wars based on religion?

Because religion is the best excuse for war.
