DespondentDave Posted April 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Someone sent me the link to this site, and I have to say I thought it very interesting. Basically it's a girl taking you on a descriptive, and photographic tour of the exclusion zone around Chernobyl; and on into the 'Ghost Town' itself, where 48,000 people once lived, but hasn't been inhabited since that fateful month in 1986. Latest estimates say that up to 400,000 have died as a result of the explosion and subsequent release of radiation. Just click on the word 'beginning' on the opening page, and there are approximately 20 pages of the stuff; and it gets more interesting as you go on. http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/
