There's something heavenly about the slide.. The lyrics are poetic, and creates this atmosphere. It's hard not to be stuck.

Wait for sleep - Dream Theater

This song has so much atmosphere that I can't stop listening to it.

I cant stop listening to this one. its not like its some giant hit or something, but the one-man show he puts on with just his voice and loop-pedals is quite amazing and pretty catchy.

Have a listen.

Two versions of the same song "Amor ala Mexicana" by Thalia was a hit in the US in the mid 1990s during the "Latin invasion" introduced vocal stars like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin to the mainstream music fanbase.

The "Mariachi" version...easy listening, adult contemporary and so so smooth.

and the more upbeat jazzy "Banda" version I heard more often than the other.

OK GO-Here It Goes Again

Could be ten, but then again I can't remember half an hour since a quarter to four

Throw on your clothes, second side of Surfer Rosa, and you leave me with my jaw on the floor

Just when you think that you're in control,

Just when you think that you've got a hold

Just when you get on a roll

Here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again

It starts out easy, something simple, something sleazy, something inching past the edge of reserve

Now through the lines of the cheap venetian blinds your car is pulling off of the curb

I love this song, its so catchy but it gets stuck in my head and I end up singing it all day!

Even if I was paralysed or in a coma I would bust a groove to this one.

Jesus is just all right with me,

Jesus is just all right, oh yeah.

So...if Jesus is just all right with you, why bother writing an ear worm about him when clearly your "oh yeah" is more of an "oh meh." If you don't care what people may say nor what they may do, why does it even matter that Jesus is just all right with you - unless this is nothing more than one big existential case of ennui. It's like makng the effort to write a song about how you could take or leave string chese - string cheese is just okay with me.

On the other hand, what could people say or do to get you really fired up, and what would happen then? Would Kali-Ra burn her bra? Would MLK be mostly okay? Would Dumbledore settle the score?

I think Weird Al really missed the boat on this one.

Having this song in my head is not okay with me.

A song that got re-stucked in my head.

This version of the original Immigrant Song, plus the video itself, feels like a gut-punch.

"We come from the land of the ice and snow

from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow

The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands

To fight the horde and sing and cry, Valhalla, I am coming

On we sweep with, with threshing oar

Our only goal will be the western shore"
