Perhaps, at heart, our attitude to an extension of life is based primarily on our attitude to our existing life. That attitude, in itself, varies according to each person's physical experiences in life, and to their physical, logical. emotional, philosophical, or even spiritual responses, to what they experience. (What comes close to destroying one person may, for some hard to understand reasons, simply make another person stronger, more adaptable, and ultimately even happier.)
