Dr Who link to UFO sighting rise

Popular science fiction series Doctor Who has been credited with a rise in UFO sightings. Former MoD UFO researcher Nick Pope has suggested that the series has made people more open to seeing UFOs.

"Science fiction and fantasy dramas like Doctor Who and Torchwood may be behind a rise in UFO sightings in built up areas of Wales, an expert has said. Nick Pope, the Ministry of Defence's (MoD) former UFO project head, was commenting on figures released by the MoD which show sightings have gone up."

Yes but is this a good or bad thing, are people actually spotting unidentified flying objects, or are people seeing mundane things and just yelling wolf ( no bad wolf puns thank you very much) because of watching doctor who.

I am sure we will have reports of people being abducted now and being violated by plungers.

LOL! Imagination is a wonderful tool when used properly. Haha, I'm sure the U.S. had similar issues in the days when the X-Files was airing.
