This is my wallpaper. Love it and always loved space, but also love humor too.

In all seriousness, I am dead determine to paint the moon so it looks like a happy face like this.

I just ordered a new custom made desktop from ibuypower.com yesterday. Should be here in three weeks, so I'm pretty psyched. I thought it was good gaming computer for less than a thousand dollars.

Here are some of specs:

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Gaming Case- White with blue meteor light

Processor: AMD FX-6100 CPU (6x 3.30 GHz/6MB L2 Cache. Has a liquid cooling system and upgraded fans to keep it from overheating.

Memory: 4GB [2GBx2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module-Kingston HyperX (we decided to just add more RAM later instead of cutting down on the processor and graphics card)

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6850-1GB-Single Card

MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3--AMD 970

Powersupply: 650 watts

Harddrive: 500 GB/ 7200 rpm

Plus a blueray player and surround sound.

Not too bad for 950 dollars, plus we have plenty of room for upgrades. The six core processor shouldn't need to be replaced for a while.

I love a nice sleek Blackbox, or Fluxbox desktop with wallpaper changing every 5 minutes. I have a collection of about 3,000 images that I constantly rotate.

This is not my desktop, but a good example of how I like them set up. GKrellm, transparent terminals but the icons are not necessary. YUM.

And quick.

When I got a new laptop last summer I also got Windows7 along with it. One of the new things I noticed was that it was possible to have slideshow of your pictures in your own picture folder as desktop background. As I no longer have a static background I find it quite pointless to take screenshot if it.

Sure! The application that I'm running is called Rainmeter, and I'm using a skin called Omnimo UI (Windows Phone 7) for it, although there are many more to choose from. Probably best to do some Google as there's a lot to choose from. Some look a lot fancier than others, but I find Omnimo's widgets to be particularly useful which is why I'm sticking with it. It can take a little while to get the skins customized properly but the end result is usually pretty good!

It's a new laptop that I just got today so it's kind of barren. It's a lot better than a netbook with Windows 7 starter. You can't even customize your desktop background on Win7 Starter.

This is mine at the minute, very minimalist I know. Background is from Ubuntu studio, it's one of my favourites.
