Republicans now into teabagging parties !

Seems funny that a day before these tea parties some person (though they do not know who) the department of homeland security decided to release a statement about a possible uprising of the radical right. Releasing a lookout stereotyped list for these possible dangerous people. And today the federal government including the president decide to have a "field circus day" with the press.

All you rightous far left and right loonies need to get a clue ... ALL THIS MESS WAS CAUSED BY BOTH SIDES. By far anyway I also believe that the current extremist government is going to by far "undo" the previous government. We cannot survive as a nation with government which supports the land of many kings.

I disagree with you. I think it's a bunch of p***y losers with no creative ideas for rescuing their country trying to assert their "authority" by being vehemently critical of something they themselves have been doing continuously for the past 8 years.

That's the thing though. Was it a bunch of p***y losers when people marched and protested on Wall Street? No, it wasn't. In my opinion, protesting is never about people being p***y losers. Ever, even if I don't agree with it. I know no matter how ridiculous it may sound to me, it is important for them.

I find the mindblowing hypocrisy of it all pretty hilarious actually. Where were all these mature fiscal conservatives during the Bush administration? If these people really cared about ridiculous government spending they would have spoken up before now. They're concerned because the spending is on education and health care for the poor. Blatant partisan b.s. at it's finest.

Like I said, this was not a party line protest. It may have been for a few people but largely speaking this was strictly about government spending. In Tyler, TX the speaker said "there will be no mud slinging here today" in regards to Obama. At the protest I went to Obama was hardly mentioned by name.

It is my opinion that the only partisan b.s. we see is largely coming from the media and the people we voted for. I am a liberal person, those I went with were liberal. I know conservatives who were appalled at Bush's TARP plan, disgusted to see their representatives vote in favor for it.

You may find the protest hilarious, and that is fine; but the message behind it is definitely not. America does not have the finances available for the enormous spending going on right now.

LOL! Bush's spending is nothing compared to Obama's! Bush spent on the war on terrorism, Obama is spending on social programs that are destined to fail, turn America into another socialist Western Europe, and put us in more debt and increase the deficit.

Destined to fail?

You're in north america.

Debt part is obvious... but they spent like hell during WW2 and the depression era too.

Do you seriously think Obama's social programs are going to work? :/

I hope they do.

But i'm not expert on your american system, and from what I've read, neither is anyone here.

No. I just said (more then once) that politicans wasting money should be put on trial.

Um, that's a bit extreme. They should just be forced to stop doing it (read: removal).

If I take money from my register at work and give it away randomly to customers, I'll be fired, and possibly fined.

one tune stands out in my mind here. Share it fair but don't take a slice of my pie.................................... :P:whistle:

Now, reasonable people can disagree about where Obama’s budget might lead. But the thing that has these tea partiers in a tizzy have less to do with how much Obama plans to spend – and more to do with what he plans to spend it on.

And it seems they’d rather spend money invading other countries than to uplift their own.

Alot of these people that are whining are the same people that got us into this mess into the first place !! Had they not supported this idiot Bush in the past, then we wouldn't have to resort to this in the first place !!

It is the conservative agenda that got us into this in the first place !!

Yeah keep defending the rich against the poor !! Go ahead pay their billions of dollars in tax breaks !!

Do they have a solution ??What is their solution ? I guess over $pending is ok if it's spent for wars and for making the rich ever richer ?

Think about that for a minute.

Well anyways it's good when people protest peacefully.

Here's a commentary I agree with:

Wouldn’t you know it?

Wouldn’t you know that right about the time a black man is elected to lead the country, a bunch of gun toting beer bellied white people (my insert) would want to stop paying the money it takes to run it?

That they’d want to pick up their toys, er, taxes, and go home?

That is, after all, really what’s eating most of the people who plan to turn out for one of the many “Tax Day tea parties” that are being held in cities around the country today.

Buoyed by a number of right-wing billionaires who are none too happy with President Barack Obama’s plan to make them pay more taxes, as well as the hot air coming from Fox News’ blowhards, thousands are expected to toss out little tea bags to tell Congress and Obama that they don’t like his budget; that the trillions he is poised to spend will shackle future generations with too much debt.

There is nothing wrong with protesting, but the problem with this so called tea party protest is that it's a sham started by rich right-wing television and radio talk show host and the republican television network FOX and one the the reasons is racism and a class struggle pure and simple, most of the half witted attendees don't know what they are protesting using words like socialism and could not not tell you the definition if their life depended on it. These people want to get their point across -that's impossible because they don't know what the point is !!

For the past six years, George W. Bush wasted trillions of dollars in Iraq – an unnecessary war generated by neo-con spin and exploitation of fears – on private contractors and other assorted parasites. He also did the fiscally irresponsible thing of cutting taxes while waging war – and caused the surplus left by his predecessor, Bill Clinton, to evaporate.

If there was any time for this Tim guy and the rest of tea partiers to protest irresponsible government spending, it was five or six years ago.

If they were genuinely concerned about wasteful government spending - or, as they’re now crying, “taxation without representation” - they would have been protesting the corporate welfare that subsidizes wealthy companies - some of which are probably sponsoring these tea parties - and costs taxpayers around $900 billion a year.

None of that pushed them to the tea party boiling point. Obama, however, did.

And the fact that they’re protesting now – as Obama is faced with having to clean up that steamy pile of fiscal mess left by the last administration – tells me their outrage has less to do with the policies that are coming from the White House and more to do with who is living there.

And, in a way, it’s rather sad.

It’s sad that to people like Tim and his ilk, corporations are always good, and government is always bad. And it’s sad that Obama, who hasn’t been in office for 100 days yet, gets disparaged as a socialist for using government to meet basic human needs, such as healthcare and jobs.

In other words, to promote the general welfare – as the Constitution calls for.

I guess if he was running up the deficit to wage a war, the tea partiers would be calling him a patriot.

Bottom line is this: This Tax Day tea party charade isn’t really about taxes. Nor is it about tyranny, which is really what the original Boston Tea Party that led to the American Revolution ....... was about.

It’s about some people not wanting to pay for the priorities of a president they didn’t want – but who won anyway. They aren’t patriots. They’re sore losers, and these tea parties are really just organized tantrums.

But they need to get a grip.

The latest polls show that Obama’s approval ratings still top 60 percent. Gallup, in fact, even did a poll that shows 61 percent of people paying federal income tax this year believe the amount of taxes they pay is fair.

What that shows is that most Americans are still behind Obama, and they’re willing to give his budget a chance.

And when the tea parties are over, most Americans will likely realize that by not attending them, they didn’t miss out on shows of patriotism. They avoided displays of intolerance.

LOL, wow talk about a straw man. Not one sentence in the post above this has any truth to it. Not one. Are we bring solutions?? Damn right, I talked with tons of folks last night about solutions. And its as simple and liberating as can be, GO BACK TO THE CONSTITUTION. Nothing more nothing less.

What it really comes down to is liberals just seem ******ed when it comes to the amount of money this and the last administration has spent. We are already in a hole that we cant come close to climbing outta for generations to come. And its only just begun. We are sick of big Goverment, sick of wastful spending, sick of having our individual freedoms taken away, sick of liberal judges p***ing on our constitution. We are done with being ruled by a bank.

Income tax in this country was supposed to pay for world war 2 and then end. We payed for world war 2 by the end of the war. So how come the tax hasn't ended.

 your kidding right. Once a government impliments a tax it never goes away... Right now in Canada they are using the recession to raise taxs and I will bet my last dollar that once we are out of this recession every tax they have put in place will remain in place.

Ever, even if I don't agree with it. I know no matter how ridiculous it may sound to me, it is important for them.

What's important to many of them is restructuring their little social hate group and regaining control.

Obama's spending is also important to some people-- people who can't feed their kids because they've been laid off. People who are cringing with shame because they can't believe that getting fired wasn't their faults. Elderly people who have lost the savings they carefully put aside for 40 years because a bunch of sophisticated crooks decided to "pursue their American dream" and scam the public.

-------------------------------------------

EmpressStar... I know from your posts that you're a spiritual, highly moral person. Don't assume that every protester on the street is also in that category. Some of them are good people who are fiscal conservatives but a lot of them are just power-hungry. That's the problem for the social conservative good guys. There's a huge community of entitled scumbags making money off their good intentions.

For some of it, sure but it doesn't excuse the government's reckless spending that is still going on.

If anybody had bothered to listen to what they were saying, most of them don't even agree with Bush's stimulus package and they were calling out everybody regardless of their political standing on reckless spending.

But no, let's all pretend the government is a perfect well oiled machine that has a controlled budget and no debt at all.

What an ironic statement. Of course, everything is Bush's fault, always. Thankfully Obama is incapable of making mistakes.
