There is one thing that libs don't seem to understand, or maybe they just don't want to understand.

Conservatives are not interested in a big Republican-led government, they are interested in a SMALL, unobtrusive government operated according to the U.S. Constitution (including the 10th Amendment).

The Tea Parties were not anti-Obama, they were anti-big government.

For some, maybe even the majority... but not all.

True, I was talking about the intent of the Tea Parties, I'm sure there were people attending them who had anti-Obama sentiments.

Interestingly, at the one I attended, the only anti-Obama comment I heard came from someone who must have been a Democrat because he said: "I really miss Bill. This guy is going to end up hurting us." I'm assuming he meant Clinton, and I can't imagine any Republican saying they miss him.

What no Freddie no Fannie??? ... All of you leftist extremies need to acknowledg that your party is also not perfect. Cant wait to hear the hateful comments about this fact.

It gives me great pleasure to see the Republican Party in the same position that the left wingers have been in. We don't support welfare queens any more than you support the Wall Street crooks. How does it feel to have a subculture of rip-off artists glomb onto your political beliefs and drown them in the mud? Pretty annoying, isn't it?

The mature thing to do would be for us to be understanding about your crooks because we had the same experience. But after the past eight years there's a pretty strong temptation to do unto you as you did unto us. Heh, heh, heh. Lately I listen to CSPAN for FUN!!!

The country needs the two parties to call a truce since we've all got a horrible problem on our hands. But if you expect us to be polite and meek you'd better tone down your rhetoric. It isn't in style any more.

The responsible way you reigned in the Bush administration speaks for itself. Sorry, no moral high ground for you guys. When you play with s--t you get dirty.

I agree the righties in the States are kinda scary, to be honest. The righties here(Canada) have a better take on things imo and well the lefties up here tick me off to no end.

The political parties in Canada do not have a one-to-one correspondence with political parties in the USA.

When I watch Canadian conservatives on TV I often find myself nodding in agreement. (I don't know enough about UK politics to have an opinion on it).

That is the problem ... it gives you pleasure. What the republicans did was wrong. What the democrates are doing now is going to destroy this country. I do not expect you to be meek or polite ... just not ignorant of the situations.

The two parties are supposed to balance each other ... for many many years this has not been so and we see what is happening. One extreme to the other.

BOTH SIDES ARE AT FAULT ... AND THIS FAULT IS ABOUT TO CAUSE AN EARTHQUAKE. 10.1 on the Sphincter scale. :o

I.F.- realistically, you can't expect the Democrats not to enjoy this to an extent. Think how you feel after three months of Obama. Now think how you're going to feel in another 7 years and nine months. Even though the Dem's are in charge, the Repub's are the one's who need to take the innitiative when it comes to burying the hatchet because they have been on the Limbaugh-style offensive for 8 years.

You can't shoot at someone and then announce that they're morally wrong to shoot back because violence begets violence. Maybe if we were a bunch of saints you could do it. But we aren't. We're all just normal schmucks floundering through our lives.

(edit-my typing... sorry)

umm, I cannot stand Limbaugh myself but ... he was all over Bush and his policies while Bush was in office. Not as much as he is with Obama.

You are right .. but who shot at who first. Bush was very stupid to go into Iraq. On the other hand look at Iran. Did we need to be there? I believe so. Obama is going to be tested by these nuts ... how he handles it will determine if and when we are again going to be attacked.

Enjoy yourselves fellow democrates. I am a democrate ... what I am not is a socialist.

It doesn't make any sense to enjoy idiotic policies, that are a detriment to the country, just because it irritates the other party.

Don't be so quick to assume that Obama is going to serve two terms.

IF they did so that makes anything the Democrats do okay now, huh? That's a very childish way to look at it. "Mommy, little Georgie did it first."

I don't know anymore but I feel that the U.S. is now being run by a one party system and the differences between the dem's and repub's is for show only.

Funny. It's especially childish from little Georgie's perspective, isn't it?

That's pretty much it...anybody that doesn't realize that by now hasn't been paying attention.

I hate the sexual innuendo she applies. How childish. MSNBC is the new Fox News. Now that they have someone in as President that they like, they'll trash a protest they don't agree with. What makes them any better? For a media outlet to prize themselves on enlightenment and supporting the Constitution they make fun of the very activity that is encouraged by our founding fathers; no matter how ridiculous any of us may find it. It's all bull. When are we going to learn that both parties, and the media are only in it for themselves? If we didn't have enough brainless mass of sheep during the Bush administration, we do now. Blind leading the blind.

The only reason this is considered a "conservative protest" (despite the protest message objecting TARP that Bush himself presided over as well) is because Fox News (sadly) is the only one covering it seriously. CNN too, perhaps, but I haven't watched enough of that channel lately to say. A libertarian group is hosting the one in my state. Not to mention you're not going to get many democratic senators/representatives protesting a President which happens to be the same party as they.

The bottom line is, it is a protest against this ridiculous government spending. It's not republican or democrat, it's the people.

Even a criminal tried warning us about this very thing in 1993:

We are reaping what has been sown, and the results of our harvest is a painful bankruptcy, and a foreclosure on American property, precious liberties, and a way of life. Few of our elected representatives in Washington, D.C. have dared to tell the truth. The federal United States is bankrupt. Our children will inherit this unpayable debt, and the tyranny to enforce paying it.

There is nothing funny about that.

well said and also I haven't heard anyone else mention this but did anyone else know that the government has said to be on the lookout for anyone that might be a terrorist or ring wing extremist? meaning, and this was heard on Mike Savage Radio, that anyone who disagrees with the Obama Admissinistration or the government then they might be a terrorist. Or that if they are Pro Gun and Pro Life then they might be a terrorist. What you're seeing now people is a war against the USA citizens and we're not far away from the point of when the government both republican and democrat alike will step foot on their soap boxes and engage an order to eliminate those targeted. This also includes former military veterans and yes you heard correctly...MILITARY VETERANS! Guess that shows how good the government is to them now too huh? Anyways, that's my twelve cents folks. Later.

America is run by a one party system so Obama should end his policies and we should go back to conservative politics. Please.
