I am sure some of these supposed researchers get their qualifications from the back of cereal boxes.

I chew gum all the time so I hope this is true :P Just like how that other study said doodling was good. Obviously why I'm so smart *sees little green waves coming out of my throbbing skull*

Got some eclipse spearmint going right now. ^_^ Not really helping my chess game though. <_<

I chew gum all the time and still think 1+1 = a window.

That is the worst study ever done. One kid chewing gum against other kids not chewing gum. The sensible way is to do a series of tests on several kids both with and without chewing gum. duh.

The wierd part about you posting that pic on chavs is that I hadn't heard about that trend until about 5 min before you brought it up. I googled it and it brought up that exact pic.

I can see how this would be true, if the gum served as a way of staying relaxed. I were a special pendant and when I hold it, I feel relaxed and able to think more clearly

I see how it works now

say a kid has to add up 1+1

so the kid counts his chews

1+1 = *chew 1* *chew2* woohoo it makes 2 ^_^

There used to be an advert on tv for Wrigley's chewing gum, and their catch phrase was "chewing helps you concentrate." :D
