A man from Yorkshire who underwent brain surgery and spent three days on life support following a ruptured blood vessel awoke in a hospital bed and started speaking and singing in a strong Irish accent.

"A Yorkshire man woke up from brain surgery to find he'd turned from a flat vowelled, thrifty dalesman into a blarney kissing, 'Danny Boy' singing, happy-go-lucky Dubliner. The Daily Mail reports that 30 year old Chris Gregory spent three days on life support, after a blood vessel in his brain ruptured."

actually its not all amazing as you might think. I mean languages and accents is what? its just different way of blowing air out of our mouths and tongue positions. Due to the coma he probably had a tiny bit of brain damage and now he blows air/positions his tongue differently making him sound Irish.

Will they do another operation to get him to be ok?

I don't think it's something you can change back with an operation so I imagine he would need to be coached back into this original accent; perhaps a speech therapist or even a dialect coach!
