Allied Forces: The forces of the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, India and the British Empire, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Ok? not just America. Implication of story: the Allied nations were jointly guilty of crimes against Germany following its defeat. "Allied" troops raped German civilians. By using the word "Allied", all the above nations are included by implication, even though one of those nations, the USSR, was the one that was involved by far to the greatest extent in these crimes. There. I've tried to explain it as simply as I can. I do not have a flag to wave for the US of A. I merely wish to see fairness. Thank you. I agree the USSR defintly played a masive roll in the war against Germany and there is no doubt that the Soviets commited many of these acts. It is a little disturbing that we fling around the number of Jews killed by the Germans (6 million) but we never hear about the other side of the coin.
