GreytMuse Posted May 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Ugh. Stories like these just make me nauseous. I hope they can find this $%^&* and give his dog a loving home.
__Kratos__ Posted May 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) To me it looks like he was just tossing his dog in the water and then saw it was struggling and got it out. Then it's 'struggling' when it was getting out of the water... Umm, of course? When dogs don't have proper footing onto something they flail around looking for it. Probably was trying to latch it's self to the rocks so it wouldn't have to go back into the drink. If you look at their coats and collars in the last pic, they look well taken care of. Though they guy should know not to toss his dogs into waves like that so near the rocks. Rocks tend to hurt like a bleep when a wave shoves you into them. He couldn't walk down to the beach part? DarkNova@ Posted May 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Ok. So, he is a mean a-hole. What gets me is how can people just stand by and watch? This is where society is breaking down. IMO, If they watched it, they are part of it. Do something. He's bigger than you? Throw a freaking rock at him. :angry2:

I agree, the dogs look in good condition, I would question why you would throw a dog in where he did... the waves could have damaged it pushing it into the broken harbour but maybe the guy is just too stupid to have seen that and has for dragging it out by the scruff of the beck, I did exactly the same thing when my dog fell jumped into the sea, I had nothing but the collar around his neck to hold onto and had to pull him out by his collar around his neck. Siara Posted May 13, 2009 #9 Share Posted May 13, 2009 A nice way to show a dog that it can swim is to take a friend with you, then wade into the water up to chest level and call the dog back and forth (rewarding it with biscuits if it's relaxed enough to eat them). You have to watch out for sharp claws but the animal is much more relaxed seeing you acting calm in the water while it's also in the water. Some dogs try to swim straight up the first time they find themselves in the water and it's easier to correct this mistake if you're in the water too. Also... if you wait 'til a hot day this is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Why pass up the opportunity for a nice memory? The jerk's dogs DO look well tended. Maybe he's just incapable of empathizing with animals.

Throw a freaking rock at him. :angry2: I agree, he deserves something, but if you attack him, chances are the his dogs will attack you, and ironically you'd have to take them out as well, kinda defeats the purpose.. But the guy is a complete *******... I really can't stand people who are cruel to animals, especially dogs.
