Natural Science: Hegemony of the Right Angle Paradigm?

If we watch carefully a group of carpenters building a house we can see that their building paradigm is the right angle and this constraint is standardized by the plumb-bob and the level. The building integrity is assured by the support of right angle structures and these supports are interconnected with linear members. The building paradigm is right angle support interconnected with liner members.

The natural sciences have a similar type of universal paradigm. The natural sciences’ greatest instrument for success is linear mathematics. Anything that is non linear is generally discarded or is solved by brute strength over design. These sciences have been successful by eliminating the negative and accentuating the positive; that which is linear is positive and that which is non linear is negative. Recent studies in fractals have helped us to better comprehend the nature of the natural sciences.

Philosophy has been determined to emulate this sort of paradigm in the hope of achieving similar success in the domains of knowledge focused upon human to human interrelationships. Recent efforts by cognitive science and associated neurological sciences have, in the last few decades, shown us the errors inherent in these attempts.

Objectivism is a philosophy that understands the world as made up of determinate, mind-independent objects with inherent characteristics or “essences”. This philosophical view of reason is that reason is capable of “mirroring” objects with their qualities and relationships in a linear and undistorted fashion. Objectivism holds that principles are high order generalizations that can function as fundamental laws that characterize categories, which are the necessary and sufficient definition of objects of reality.

Rationality is framed and contained by the systematic nature of human conceptual processes. “Human rationality is motivated…imaginative rationality is indeterminate in more-or-less predictable ways.”

Traditional philosophical objectivism assumes (i.e. takes for granted) “that reason is available to control and direct the movement from authoritative sources to the logical decision of a concrete case”.

In legal matters “reasoning consists in abstracting from a judicial opinion or other authoritative legal text the principles that express the necessary and sufficient conditions, properties, or criteria that characterize it.” In normal everyday considerations reasoning consists in ascertaining the categories that characterizes the situation.

When drawing or building something one reaches an impasse. First is of course a line, at right angles to that one places another line. At right angles to these two lines one places other lines and the result is a three dimensional object. The problem is when one tries to add other dimensions as in order to do so one must, identify right angles for all three physical dimensions that one has already identified. It is really not that hard to understand that when pondering such a question one is lead to the realization, that to do so, would mean to somehow going inside the structure in some kind of integrated way, that is seamless in every respect,

One could actually say "one would be centered to oneself as an individual" if in fact one were four dimensional and we are. Einstein presented space-time as three dimensions of space and one of time but if time is actually squared then to the fabric of space and time, time as squared offers something extra. Which like the photon in light is not quite matter? Time has something which probably is not quite space.

Some might look at this and from this consider that humans have been struggling in many ways to understand how reality is organized, at some point in time they turning into themselves and came up with things like the internal combustion engine so what else is possible.

Conceptual unification of elementary particles, black holes and the primordial states of the universe

The unification of black holes and elementary particles is at the center of theoretical physics today and astroparticle physics. It has long been searched, but never successfully accomplished. For the first time, this unification is proposed in a conceptual way, by a researcher in Paris Observatory, and includes the primordial states of the universe: the states describing inflation (whose existence is supported by the recent cosmic microwave background observations) and the states describing an earlier (more microscopic or more quantum) phase for which is predicted a discrete spectrum and a new phase transition. This phase transition would be the quantum gravity counterpart of the (non linear) Jeans instability with cosmological constant and with a more complex and richer structure.

The classical-quantum (de Broglie) duality at the basis of quantum mechanics is here extended to the quantum gravity or string regime (that is, wave-particle-string duality). Remarkably, this classical-semiclassical-quantum gravity duality precisely describes the whole history of black hole evaporation and the universe evolution.
