Rotating space elevator could propel own load

For years NASA have been looking in to the possibility of space elevators, a new study has revealed that a rotating elevator could propel itself in to orbit without the need for engines or laser light pressure systems.

"The idea of the space elevator just got a little crazier. While the “traditional” concept involved using rocket propulsion or laser light pressure to propel loads up a cable anchored to Earth, a new study shows that a rotating space elevator could do away with engines or laser light pressure application completely."

i think is a not a good idea if something drop to earth it could destroy a city but it cool
