The Business Secretary described it as an "important objective" for Britain during a trip to Berlin, hailing the euro as "a great success". It is the first time such a senior minister has openly enthused about the euro for over five years. Gordon Brown effectively closed down the debate on scrapping the pound with his five tests in. stevewinn Posted June 12, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Mandy AKA the prince of Darkness can feck right off. what a tosser. three times removed from Government and then takes up a seat in the European Parliament. and don't forget. since mandy left the EU parliament and returned has lord high chief mandy gobshite he still gets paid his EU wage and pension along with the wages and pension from the British Government, so its no wonder he thinks the EU is a great thing. he knows where his bread is buttered.
