A team of scientists in Australia have developed a "trojan horse" to help combat cancer, the treatment would allow chemotherapy to directly target cancer cells instead of the current method of using it on both cancerous and healthy cells.

"Australian scientists have developed a "trojan horse" therapy to combat cancer, using a bacterially-derived nano cell to penetrate and disarm the cancer cell before a second nano cell kills it with chemotherapy drugs."

I hope that this does work, because it could save so many more lives, and it would be less harsh then chemotherapy is.

Agreed, I can't wait for them to carry out more tests with it, It's nice to see thet we're having more breakthroughs with cancer these days.

I am currently working on a very similar research project here in the USA with a known university. Ours involve using clusters of nanodiamonds to deliver the "medicine" to a tumor. Once there the medicine seeps out of the cluster and attacks the tumor. The size of these clusters are 8nm to 10nm. This kind of work wasn't possible last year as no one was able to produce single crystal nanodiamond in quantity. It's very interesting.

Nobody has an expiration date. It really bugs me when doctors have the nerve to put a time limit on your life. They should know better as authority figures that people tend to take what they say as the gospel. Unfortunately, once it gets into your subconscious that you are going to die your body reacts in kind.

As long as a person is alive they have control and can choose to fight. God gave us amazing bodies that have the potential to do things that science has yet to understand.

I know it's easy to run our mouths but I will pray for your brother and your family.

Well, technically, we all do :)

The rest, I totally agree. I am a cancer survivor and I was given 2 months to live. That was almost 9 years ago :D

Hahaha, it's such a joke everytime you hear of another invented cancer cure, there's already many natural things that work. Cannabis being one of them, I know of many people with different types of cancers who have been cure because of it.

And this, there's a medical doctor who lives not far from me who cured himself of cancer using vitamin B.

This sounds like a pre-treatment to chemotherapy, allowing the chemotherapy better access to the cancer cells.

My three separate regimens of six each of Chemotherapy, it begins with the needles tearing up my arms, that became so painful. Your veins get real sensitive and damage easily after the first treatment. I now have a port and it does help. I didn't care for the hours of slow time while receiving each treatment either. And they now have medicines to counter the worse of the effects of the chemo. And informative classes to help you know what to expect and how to handle it has been a god-send avoiding panic of frightening reactions from your body during the cresting time after treatment.

Some of the cancer cells morph for survival, it is tough to kill them completely. If this trojan horse gets them through easier to penetrate and destroy, that is wonderful. Maybe in the future, with this new technology only one regimen of Chemotherapy would be needed to conquer the cancers.

That is awesome!!! It's great to read stuff like this and your testimony can only be a positive influence on Hatch. Maybe he can show this thread to his brother.

Praise God!!!!

While there are many natural cancer killers, they tend to only help when the cancer is in it's early stages. I am all for natural treatments but I am also confident that we are developing a system for stage 2 and beyond that offer a pinpoint delivery system as well as a more concentrated cancer cell attack while avioding damage of surrounding healthy cells. I can still remember my father suffering with burns associated with his treatments. I've always thought that radiation treatments were barbaric and there had to be a better way. Now there is and we are right at the cusp of making it a reality. I don't even care who does it first and I support the Australians. Depending on the priority of our research I could possibly keep you all updated on our progress if you are interested.

God willing this will all come to fruition.
