The Silver Thong Posted July 11, 2009 #34 Share Posted July 11, 2009 Alberta beef, so that's what you call baby seal meat, i knew it was true i'd seen it on TV, when your not clubbing baby seals, your lumberjacks, wear high heels, and hang around in bar's and i know that's defiantly true cus i've seen the film. Why did you edit what I said and then quote it as if I said that? I can tell your well traveled Traveled to Canada much However what you say may be true, as you must run in a different circle than me LOL To be totally honest I would love to try baby seal, just not raw. Ok a little raw The Canadian Inuit do have a set of laws that are just for them as do the first nations. The reason they do this (seal hunt) is because it's how they survived befor white man came, with whiskey and dried pork and guns !!!! The whiteman here has not taken everything, most things but not everything. The native people have certain hunting rights that supersede mine and people like me LOL. The seal hunt is mostly an Inuit thing and as Canadians we have to respect that and come to terms with what we decided well over a hundred years ago as there right. I find it hard that some people think it's Betty and Barnie Canadian that watch American idol every night eat and kill seal LOL. Or are some saying that the Inuit broke from tradition and started using guns and motor boats? That eliminates there right to hunt hmmm by saying that any person to ever have hunted with a rifle is also guilty of giving up on there heritage befor guns lol. There are rich Inuit that own large fishing fleets and they the native inuit do the hunt (mostly). You know why, because the rest of the western world wants to wear baby seal LOL Ok what was this about LOl a tooth ?

Queen in the North Posted July 11, 2009 #38 Share Posted July 11, 2009 I can believe the French being the worst tourists, really can. But I don't reckon the French think much of the English tourists either, speaking as someone who got thrown out of a restaurant in France with all my friends for being rowdy. *angelic halo* Also I think it was that we refused to speak French, personally, and had nothing whatsoever to do with the food fight. Didn't read the article, but I bet the English are way down there too.

louie Posted July 13, 2009 #42 Share Posted July 13, 2009 So what's the difference between a Large group of Irish to a large group of English going to Magaluf? both have the Full English (Irish) Breakfast, both get drunk every night? the difference is the locals think they're all English. yes some Irish do the same, but the numbers are not the same, its a larger percentage of english. an not just package holidays in general the english have a bad rep, ive lived in many countrys an the people generally tell the same experences with the english. funny the irish get welcomed everywhere, so they mustant be that bad. Their women are absolutely gorgeous. Firey red hair with emerald green eyes and a firey temper to boot. They're like wildcats, if I could pick my nationality, it'd probly be Irish.
